Jackson Heights I love you😭 I will trek here for food any day of the week in any weather. I’ve been complaining about the heat for the past few weeks but NYC this is not what I meannttt🙄.

MOMOSSSSS, love Tibetan food!! Another great comfort cuisine. I’ve been wanting to try this food truck called Amdo Kitchen for a while and it’s 8 momos for $8. You can also buy frozen momos here. I tried the beef today. Lowkey standing in the rain eating under an umbrella was a vibe lol. I have a few other Tibetan and Indian spots I want to try in JH but send me those no frills recs PLEASE.

Hi hi I am alive and well post bike collision haha. Yummy thai restaurant in Queens. Murray Hill Queens has so much good food I was overwhelmed when I went. This is off the broadway stop on the LIRR. Also don’t come for me saying LIRR I WANT TO CALL IT THAT😭 This spot is called When in Bangkok (same owners as Malii Gramercy for those in Manhattan!)

I order the pad thai with egg net, steamed sea bass and their signature flat noodle dish. Was sooo yummy. Will be exploring this area more soon :)

Hi hi question do we like voiceover cooking? Or chit chat cooking? Or no talking cooking??? Anways!! Sticky rice shu mai!! One of my favorites!! Honestly so easy to make!!! Soak the sticky rice overnight to ensure it is evenly cooked and has a fluffy texture. Rehydrated shiitake mushrooms are a must and give the filling such a great umami flavor along with the soy sauce, oyster sauce, etc.

Disclaimer did not create this type of dumpling it originated from Shanghai, I just have ordered it from there that’s why they are used as a reference!! Now instead of getting 5 pieces for $13 at Din Tai Fung you can make over 50 pieces at home ;)
