“Mekong ASEAN Documentary Film Week” in MAEW 2025
🎬 เปิดรับผลงานสารคดีและหนังสั้น
ภายใต้ธีม "เขียวลวง: ปฏิบัติการฟอกเขียวกับพลังประชาชน"
24-30 กันยายน 2568 | จังหวัดนครพนม
แม่น้ำโขงคือสายเลือดที่หล่อเลี้ยงชีวิตผู้คนหลายล้านคน เชื่อมโยงวัฒนธรรม ความฝัน และอนาคตของประชาชนจำนวนมหาศาลของภูมิภาคอาเซียน แต่ท่ามกลางวาทกรรมการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนและการแข่งขันด้านนวัตกรรมเพื่อสิ่งแวดล้อม เรากลับพบความจริงที่น่ากระอักกระอ่วนซ่อนอยู่เบื้องหลังคำว่า "สีเขียว"
โครงการพัฒนาขนาดใหญ่ที่ถูกนำเสนอในฐานะ "พลังงานสะอาด" หรือ "เศรษฐกิจสีเขียว" หลายครั้งกลับสร้างผลกระทบอย่างรุนแรงต่อระบบนิเวศ ทำลายวิถีชีวิต และละเมิดสิทธิของชุมชนท้องถิ่น นี่คือปรากฏการณ์ "เขียวลวง" (The Fake Green)
🎬 ผลงานที่เรากำลังมองหา
สารคดีและหนังสั้นทุกรูปแบบ ที่กล้าตั้งคำถามและสำรวจประเด็น "เขียวลวง" ในหลากหลายมิติ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งเรื่องราวที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ:
- เรื่องราวคนสู้ : ชีวิตและการต่อสู้ของผู้คน ชุมชน และนักกิจกรรมที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากโครงการพัฒนาต่างๆ และลุกขึ้นมาปกป้องสิทธิและทรัพยากรของตนเอง

- พลังงานที่ไม่สะอาดจริง : เบื้องหลังโครงการพลังงานน้ำ เขื่อน และพลังงานทางเลือก ที่ส่งผลกระทบต่อระบบนิเวศและวิถีชีวิต แต่ถูกนำเสนอในฐานะทางออกของโลก
- เขตเศรษฐกิจที่ทิ้งคนไว้ข้างหลัง : การลงทุนในเขตเศรษฐกิจพิเศษ ที่ดูเหมือนจะนำความเจริญมาให้ แต่แท้จริงแล้วอาจเป็นการแย่งชิงทรัพยากร ทำลายสิ่งแวดล้อม และละเมิดสิทธิมนุษยชน

- กับดัก Net Zero : นโยบายลดก๊าซเรือนกระจกและการค้าคาร์บอนเครดิต ที่อาจเป็นเพียงการย้ายปัญหาจากที่หนึ่งไปอีกที่หนึ่ง มากกว่าการแก้ปัญหาที่ต้นเหตุอย่างแท้จริง

- ต้นทุนแร่ธาตุเพื่อโลกสีเขียว : ผลกระทบของอุตสาหกรรมเหมืองแร่เพื่อป้อนเทคโนโลยีพลังงานสะอาด ที่ส่งผลโดยตรงต่อสุขภาพและสิ่งแวดล้อมของชุมชน
- วัฒนธรรมที่ถูกคุกคาม : ภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นและวิถีชีวิตดั้งเดิมที่กำลังถูกคุกคามจากการพัฒนาที่ไม่สมดุล

* ประเภท : ทุกรูปแบบ (ไม่จำกัดเทคนิคและวิธีการนำเสนอ)
* ภาษา : ไทย, อังกฤษ หรือภาษาท้องถิ่นในอาเซียน (ต้องมีคำบรรยายภาษาไทยหรืออังกฤษ)

จัดฉายระหว่างวันที่ 24 - 30 กันยายน 2568: ในงาน “Mekong ASEAN Documentary Film Week” in MAEW 2025 ที่จังหวัดนครพนม พร้อมกิจกรรมเสวนา เวิร์กช็อป และพื้นที่แลกเปลี่ยนระหว่างคนทำสารคดี, ผู้สร้างภาพยนตร์ นักกิจกรรม และผู้คนในชุมชน
เราเชื่อว่าทุกเรื่องราวมีค่า และทุกมุมมองที่กล้าหาญ คือ พลังสำคัญในการสร้างความเปลี่ยนแปลง มาร่วมกันใช้พลังของภาพยนตร์เพื่อเล่าความจริงของแม่น้ำที่เป็นสายใยเชื่อมโยงเราทุกคน !

🎬 Film Submission Open for Documentaries and Short Films
Theme: "The Fake Green: From Green Lies to People’s Power"
September 24-30, 2025 | Nakhon Phanom, Thailand
The Mekong River is the lifeblood for millions, connecting the cultures, dreams, and futures of a large number of the ASEAN community. However, amidst the discourse of sustainable development and the race for green innovation, we find an unsettling truth hidden behind the word "green."
Many large-scale development projects, promoted as "clean energy" or the "green economy," often inflict severe impacts on ecosystems, destroy traditional ways of life, and violate the rights of local communities. This is the phenomenon of "The Fake Green."
🎬 We are looking for films that:
We invite documentaries and short films of all formats that dare to question and explore the issue of "The Fake Green" from various perspectives. We are particularly interested in stories that address:
- Stories of Struggle: The lives and resistance of people, communities, and activists affected by development projects who rise up to protect their rights and resources.
- Not-So-Clean Energy: The hidden truths behind hydropower, dams, and alternative energy projects that impact ecosystems and livelihoods but are presented as global solutions.
- Special Economic Zones That Leave People Behind: Investments in special economic zones that promise prosperity but may actually involve resource grabbing, environmental destruction, and human rights violations.
- The Net Zero Trap: Greenhouse gas reduction policies and carbon credit trading that may merely shift problems from one place to another rather than addressing the root causes.
- The Price of Green Minerals: The impact of the mining industry, which supplies minerals for clean energy technology, on the health and environment of local communities.
- Threatened Cultures: The indigenous knowledge and traditional ways of life endangered by imbalanced development.

- Submission Period: Now - July 30, 2025
- Categories: Documentaries and short films of all formats (no limitations on technique or style).
- Languages: Thai, English, or any local ASEAN language (must have Thai or English subtitles).

- Notification of Selection: By August 30, 2025
- Screening Dates: September 24-30, 2025, at the “Mekong ASEAN Documentary Film Week” in MAEW 2025 in Nakhon Phanom province. The event will feature talks, workshops, and networking opportunities for filmmakers, activists, and communities.
