MARCH HIGHLIGHTS 🎯
🚩TEF GENERAL ASSEMBLY & RISING STAR AWARD NIGHT 2026 🏆✨
The Thailand Equestrian Federation hosted the 12th “Rising Star” Awards at Dusit Thani Bangkok, bringing together over 35 clubs and more than 400 participants to celebrate the outstanding achievements of Thailand’s equestrian athletes. The evening recognized rising talents across disciplines, highlighting dedication, sportsmanship, and performance throughout the season, while also providing an opportunity for the equestrian community to come together in celebration.
Earlier the same day, TEF held its Annual General Assembly at Kian Gwan House II. The meeting focused on reviewing the Federation’s progress and key activities over the past year, approving the 2025 financial statements, and discussing important updates and regulatory developments. Members were also informed about the Federation’s new office location, the introduction of the new Royal logo, and the official adoption of the name “Thailand Equestrian Federation Under the Royal Patronage.” These updates mark an important step forward in strengthening governance, identity, and future development.

🚩FEI Sports Forum | Lausanne, Switzerland | 30–31 March 2026 🌍
The 14th edition of the FEI Sports Forum at IMD Lausanne brought together leaders, officials, and stakeholders from the global equestrian community to debate key policies and discuss the future direction of the sport. The two-day forum featured interactive sessions addressing youth development pathways, LA28 Olympic regulations, and enhanced horse welfare initiatives.
A key highlight was the launch of the FEI Event Stable Manager certification, reflecting the FEI’s commitment to professionalization, innovation, and sustainable growth across all disciplines.
Key Highlights:
* LA28 Olympic Strategy: Three-rider teams will remain, with new rules introducing a jump-off for all team medals to ensure a definitive podium. The format also includes more flexible late-stage athlete-horse replacements to support team management.
* Youth Focus: The introduction of the first World U25 Championships aims to strengthen the development pathway and bridge the gap between youth and senior elite competition.
* Horse Welfare First: Enhanced data-driven welfare monitoring, new stable manager certifications, and stricter “fitness to compete” protocols were emphasized to protect horse welfare and the sport’s social license.

🚩Jumping Thailand Championship CSI 1* 130cm & 140cm 🐎
Venue: Horseshoe Point
The CSI 1* morning sessions, held on March 14–15, showcased competitive sport across two height classes, attracting top national combinations. Riders demonstrated precision, speed, and technical skill across well-designed courses.

🚩Dressage Thailand Championship – VRD Dressage Cup 🎖️
Venue: RSU, Fürst Henry Arena
The VRD Cup took place from March 27–29, featuring three days of elegant competition at the Royal Stable Unit's Fürst Henry Arena. The event saw an impressive turnout, bringing together 78 athletes, 83 horses, and 19 clubs from across the region. Competitors showcased harmony, precision, and technical excellence across multiple levels, contributing valuable qualification opportunities toward the national championships.
The competition reflected continued growth in dressage participation and standards, with riders demonstrating strong performances throughout the weekend.

🚩Endurance Thailand Championship #1 CEI 1* King’s Cup 🏁
Venue: Thai Polo & Equestrian Club
The first leg of the Endurance Thailand Championship took place over a challenging 100 km course, testing horse fitness, rider strategy, and endurance management. The event welcomed entries from dedicated endurance stables and provided an important qualifying opportunity within the championship series.
Congratulations to the winner:
Wipawan Pawitayalarp & The Horses Letis from The Horses Endurance Stable, completing the full distance among seven entries.
The Best Condition Award was also presented to The Horses Letis, owned by Prutirat R. Serireongrith, recognizing exceptional horse management and recovery.
