Celebrating Our Grade 1 English Program PBL Presentations Our Grade 1 students took center stage at the Saint Joseph Convent School English Program, dazzling parents and carers with their "My City" PBL (Project-Based Learning) presentations. It was a truly inspiring event, showcasing not only the students' creativity and hard work but also the incredible support from our school community. The energy in the room was palpable, filled with a sense of excitement and immense pride. Incredible Projects and Confident Voices The student projects were the heart of the event. Each child created a beautifully crafted model of a different place in a city, from vibrant parks and bustling supermarkets to peaceful libraries and towering hotels. The level of detail and imagination was remarkable, reflecting a deep engagement with the project's theme. What was even more impressive was watching these young learners step up to their oral tasks. With confidence that belied their age, they spoke about their creations in English, sharing details about the purpose of each place. The presentations were articulate and heartfelt, a testament to their language development and the program's focus on practical communication skills. A Community United by Support The success of the presentations would not have been possible without the enthusiastic support of our parents and carers. The room was filled with proud faces, cameras at the ready, capturing every moment. Their encouragement created a warm and supportive environment that empowered the students to shine. The event was a beautiful example of collaboration between home and school, demonstrating that when we work together, our students can achieve wonderful things. The strong turnout and positive feedback were a clear indicator of a shared commitment to our children's education and growth. This event was more than just a presentation; it was a celebration of learning, creativity, and community spirit. It was a privilege to witness our students take such a confident step forward in their educational journey. We look forward to seeing what they will create next!
