Our Story
Introduction Studio28 is a world-class studio located in Bangkok, Thailand in a private and tranquil environment but yet very close to the city. Our Studio A is a ground up facility with a total space of 375 square meters and it was designed by a TEC nominated studio designer “Jay Kaufman”. Our studio A consists of a large live room, control room, and three ISO rooms. The live room is specially designed for a 64 pieces of orchestra with a reverb time of 1.2 millisecond, which also can be control the amount by our signature movable ceiling panel. The new SSL Duality 48 Delta is our pick to be the heart of our control room with the Oceanway Custom Speaker as our mains. A wide selection of mic list and outboard equipments are also available for our guests. Beside the studio, our facility also includes two private lounges with TVs, surround sound, Apple TV, Playstation4 and a pool table. We also have wireless speaker systems throughout the facility so you can stream music through the entire facility for your event. The outside area is consists of a courtyard with seating and relaxing garden area with bar and BBQ stove. We also provided our client with a bar and a kitchen upstair for our guest. The goal at Studio28 is to provide our guests with an inspiring, comfortable, and lively place to work in. To define lively, that is how we define Bangkok the capital city of Thailand where you can an interesting mixture of culture, leisure, and pleasure at the same time. So beside from working let’s us take you to experience the live of Bangkok! Service Offer Studio A A 375 squre meter studio with an approximate dimensions of 15m x 20m x 7m ceiling height, with 3 isolation rooms with an area of approximately 20m2 each. The stage will have an acoustic character that is slightly warm yet very detailed and will have a reverb time of approximately 1.2 seconds which is perfectly design for orchestra and film scoring session. The room will house variable acoustic panels that will be able to reduce overall reverb time by approximately 400 milliseconds. This will be particularly valuable during certain tracking which requires lesser reverb time such as pop, rock, or jazz ensemble. On the side there will be a Yamaha Grand Piano and the array of instruments and amps on hand. The control room will be equipped with a world class console SSL 9000J 72 inputs, and a signature custom made horn speaker designed by Jay Kaufman which is also use in the Ocean Way Studios, Hollywood until present. As well as the array of both digital and analog outboard effects and gears. Studio B A 68 sq ft studio with a comfortable atmospheric working environment in both control room and live room which will provide peace and comfort to the client while working in there. The control room will be equipped with a Digidesign Control 24 Console and Digidesign HD2 Pro Tools System along with many more pre amps, outboard gears, and effects. The monitoring system for this studio would be both stereo and 5. 1 surround system for both music production and post-production purpose. The live room in Studio B will be acoustically design to fit with many genre of music such as rap, hip hop, R&B, pop, and rock. It is best to record vocal, voice over, ADR, and over dubbing session in this room. We are highly recommend Studio B to the unsigned bands and artists for demo making session before presenting their album to the label because of the affordable and reasonable rate of this room. The Studio B would be an ideal room for a smaller recording session, stereo and surround mixing, and post-production.
