Following his gig at Speakerbox, Bangkok, I caught up with Martin Bowes â founding member of legendary electronic darkwave/gothic band Attrition. Martin reflects on over four decades in underground music. He shares stories from running the early fanzine Alternative Sounds in Coventry in 1979, watching the S*x Pistols and The Stranglers live, to his first-ever gig the night John Lennon was shot. Martin discusses the evolution of Attrition, and recounts performances across the globe â from Bangkok to the heart of Transylvania.
