Back at the building collapse for day 2 of the rescue coverage.

Just home for several live new broadcasts form the building collapse in Bangkok following the big earthquake in Myanmar.

For those that know Bangkok, this building was under construction and is directly across from the famous JJ Mall.

This, sadly, won't have many happy endings with nearly 100 workers still missing but, on the plus side, this is the only major damage in Bangkok.

We are back tomorrow for continuing coverage.

We are in the middle of producing our 5th season of MTD-TV for our friends Mingtiandi.

Along with the live shows we produce from our Bangkok control room, we shoot and edit a lot of videos...and with that, we catch a few bloopers now and then.

I thought it would be fun to put together a little blooper reel for the MTD-TV team and for you.... enjoy.

I was upgrading our media server and ran across 3 videos from 2005 that I shot and edited.

Back in 2005, I was working with my friend Todd A West running sound and lights at the Coral Reef Lounge in Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino and I also had my own video and digital signage biz.

All are old SD format video as they were shot on tape before HDTV was a thing. The videos were for the bands to send on DVD to agents and venues as demos. At that time a demo was usually about 5 minutes long and contained several songs to give a good idea what the bands look and sound were.

I am posting so these band members can tag each other and reminisce about the old days. To avoid Facebook's automated copyright detection, I provide a link below to my website rather that post the videos directly.

These 3 videos are for:

"Senergy" - a very popular Las Vegas cover band fronted by Vic Carroll. This was shot at the Flaimingo in Margaritaville. Vic's interview segment was shot in my edit suite.

"Princetta Saray" - a the time, Princetta Saray was a popular vocalist in the Vegas Music Scene. This video features a shot from my backyard and musicians Ray Mouton and Anthony Jordan.

Made before HD was a thing – this SD video was shot on DVC Pro tapes and edited on Avid Media Composer using Plural Eyes to sync the cameras in post.

Drizzlin Media (www.drizzlin.com) is a communications agency focused on the empowerment of brands, enabling them to develop a good relationship with their customers with offices in India and Singapore.

Drizzlin has selected Jaiyen Digital Media to record a series of interviews with award winning architect Hans Brouwer, Director of HB Design in his Bangkok offices.

The interviews will be used by Drizzlin to create promotional materials for their India based real estate clients for which Hans designed several high end multi unit residential buildings. @
