THREAD TOPIC: 🤣😭🤣
Animations that LOOKED easy at first! (post horror stories✏examples here)

There's more to this little art snack than first meets the eye for animators with a sharp one...

If you look closely at the cartoon print, you'll notice it's got that Lichtenstein grid of white dots, under which the actual movement of the blink needed to occur.

For visual continuity and for the illusion to work, I had to make a seperate overlay layer of just those hundreds of tiny little dots for them to remain static!

So much more work than I thought I was in for when I imagined this little gag! I guess that's always the case though huh? 🤣

Attention BKK media-minded friends and Flying Hand Fam!

Here's a little exciting historical blip on the unfolding map of new media in SE Asia that you just might miss (if you haven't already walked past it).

Today in Siam Paragon and Central World, a VR standalone experience is being coupled with the theatrical release of a commercial feature film for the first time in Thai industry history.

The film is The Cave, and the man behind the accompanying VR content installation (which should come of no surprise to those of you who give two clicks about this sort of thing) is the hardy Al Caudullo of .

If you're like me, this is pretty exciting stuff. To see this milemarker in (true-to-form) 360 marketing, have a gander for yourself. The small installations can be found in the ticketing area of each cinema.
