ทิศทางการพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ของ Golhem คือการสร้างสรรค์ผลิตภัณฑ์ชนิดใหม่จากวัสดุ MCM (Modified Clay Material) หรือวัสดุตกแต่งผนังแบบบางจนกลายเป็นวัสดุปิดผิวที่คุ้นเคยกันดีในวงการออกแบบแล้ว การต่อยอดพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ LAVA STONE SERIES ซึ่งเป็นแผ่นดินเหนียวดัดแปลงภูเขาไฟ จึงเป็นการผลักดันขอบเขตของงานออกแบบให้ก้าวไกลยิ่งขึ้น
ผลิตภัณฑ์ซีรี่ย์นี้ถ่ายทอดคาแรกเตอร์เฉพาะของหินลาวามาในรูปแบบแผ่น MCM ด้วยลักษณะเด่นมีผิวสัมผัสแบบด้าน กับเสน่ห์ของหินภูเขาไฟที่พื้นผิวรูพรุนขนาดเล็กกระจายตัวแบบสุ่ม มีความลึกและความคมชัดในระดับสูง มีน้ำหนักเบา ยืดหยุ่น และติดตั้งง่าย สามารถใช้งานได้ทั้งภายในและภายนอก ทดแทนหินลาวาที่มีความหนาหลายเซนติเมตร พร้อมกับเปิดความเป็นไปได้ในการใช้ปิดผิวอาคารแบบที่ยังไม่เคยมีมาก่อนสำหรับหินลาวา

Golhem’s product development direction focuses on creating new material possibilities from MCM (Modified Clay Material), a thin-wall finishing. Now widely recognized in the design industry, the next phase of development centers on the LAVA STONE SERIES, a volcanic modified clay material, unlocking its potential as a creative exploration tool and pushing the boundaries of design.
This series translates the distinct character of lava stone into MCM sheet form. It features a matte surface with the natural charm of fine, randomly distributed pores, while remaining lightweight, flexible, and easy to install. Suitable for both interior and exterior applications, this opens up new possibilities for façade applications that were previously difficult to achieve with lava stone.

Gradient Series is FineSurface’s latest HPL surface collection, distinguished by its seamless color gradation. The carefully curated palette reflects the brand’s philosophy of moving beyond convention through refined and balanced aesthetics, while remaining versatile across a variety of applications. Embossed textures aligned with the surface patterns create realistic depth, enhancing both the tactile experience and the material’s overall design expression.
Due to the inherent limitations of conventional laminate surface design, many designers continue to work within familiar material expressions, such as wood grain, stone finishes, or other traditional surface treatments. The development of the Gradient Series represents an attempt to expand these boundaries by introducing contemporary color transitions and tonal variations.

หลายคนอาจจะยังนึกภาพไม่ออกว่าวัสดุ “โฟม” จะถูกใช้และมีบทบาทอย่างไรในงานวิศวกรรมและก่อสร้าง ซึ่งเบื้องหลังของวัสดุสีขาวโพลนนี้คือ EPS หรือเม็ดพลาสติกที่มีแก๊ส “เพนเทน” อยู่ข้างใน การใช้โฟม EPS ในงานก่อสร้างและงานวิศวกรรม จะเป็นงานประเภทรับแรง แบ่งแรง ลดน้ำหนัก และควบคุมพฤติกรรมของโครงสร้าง การใช้โฟมประกบกับกำแพงกันดิน หรือการปูแผ่นโฟมไว้ใต้พื้นคอนกรีต เพื่อรับแรงกดบางส่วน และลดการแตกร้าวของพื้น เพื่อใช้เป็นโฟมปรับระดับพื้น เป็นต้น
นอกจากงานก่อสร้างและงานเชิงวิศวกรรมแล้ว ยังมีผลิตภัณฑ์ที่ตอบโจทย์ด้านความสวยงาม อย่าง คิ้วบัวโฟม ที่มีน้ำหนักเบา สามารถติดบริเวณสูง ๆ ได้ หรืออิฐมีฉนวน สามารถนำไปก่อเป็นผนังได้เลย โดยภายในจะเป็นโฟมทั้งชิ้นที่มีการออกแบบร่องพิเศษให้สามารถยึดเกาะกับปูนได้ดี ช่วยให้บ้านเย็นและก่อสร้างได้สวยงามขึ้น

To understand its role in construction, it is necessary to consider the material’s production process. The white material commonly recognized as foam is EPS (Expandable Polystyrene Foam), composed of plastic beads containing pentane gas. This EPS can be used in a range of applications related to load distribution, weight reduction, and structural behavior control. For example, it can be used as a buffer layer behind retaining walls, or beneath concrete slabs to distribute loads and minimize cracking.
Beyond engineering applications, it has also expanded into architectural elements that address both functional and aesthetic considerations. These include decorative moldings, which are lightweight and suitable for installation in elevated areas, as well as Cool Block, a wall system resembling conventional masonry units but incorporating a foam core. The block is designed with surface grooves to improve adhesion to mortar, enhancing thermal performance and construction efficiency.

Carpets can add a distinct atmosphere to domestic interiors—bringing warmth, softness, and a quiet charm. They also allow for subtle shifts in mood and tone, enabling homeowners to adapt the ambiance according to different needs or moments. Today, carpets increasingly incorporate recycled materials as their primary component, addressing both aesthetic and sustainability concerns. One such example is the Montblanc collection by Express Carpet.
ready-made carpet features an advanced construction using 90% recycled PE fibers combined with 10% shrink PE fibers, machinewoven by a world-class manufacturer. This process results in a plush pile height of 25 mm. A high–low weaving technique further enhances the surface, creating depth and visual richness, to the extent that its recycled origin is hardly perceptible. The product is certified under OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 (Textiles), ensuring safety through testing for harmful substances that may affect human health.

กิจกรรม ASA Walkie Talkie ครั้งนี้ นำโดย คุณปกรณ์ เนมิตรมานสุข จาก Pakorn Architect ผู้ชนะการประกวดแบบโครงการอาคารสำนักงานส่งเสริมเศรษฐกิจสร้างสรรค์ สงขลา หรือ TCDC Songkhla Old Town ที่จะมาบอกเล่าเบื้องลึกเบื้องหลังการทำงานตั้งแต่เริ่มการประกวด พร้อมกับพาทุกท่านไปเยี่ยมชมโครงการด้วยตนเอง
ที่ตั้งของ TCDC Songkhla Old Town อยู่ในจุดรอยต่อระหว่างย่านเมืองเก่าที่กำลังเติบโตด้านกิจกรรมสร้างสรรค์ และย่านที่อยู่อาศัยที่มีความหนาแน่น สถาปัตยกรรมจึงถูกใช้เป็นกลไกในการเชื่อมสองบริบทนี้เข้าด้วยกันผ่านการออกแบบพื้นที่สาธารณะ ซึ่งเป็นแนวทางที่ทีมสถาปนิกได้พัฒนาขึ้นตลอดกระบวนการออกแบบ การมีอยู่ของโครงการจึงไม่ได้เพียงเติมเต็มพื้นที่ว่างในเมือง แต่เป็นการประกาศถึงความเป็นไปได้ใหม่เป็นโครงสร้างของอนาคตที่กำลังถูกทดลองอยู่ในปัจจุบัน

แนวทางของอุปกรณ์ห้องน้ำในปัจจุบันก้าวเข้าสู่รูปแบบ Smart Living ด้วยการผสานนวัตกรรมยุคใหม่เข้ากับงานออกแบบที่ให้ความสำคัญทั้งแง่ความงามและมาตรฐานผลิตภัณฑ์ กะรัต เอ็นเตอร์ไพรส์ เปิดตัวแบรนด์ใหม่ “ESTHER” และพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์คอลเล็กชัน ORGANICA Basin โดยให้ความสำคัญกับการเลือกใช้วัสดุและกระบวนการผลิตที่มีผลกระทบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมให้น้อยที่สุด
หนึ่งในวัสดุจากเศษเหลือทางการเกษตรที่ ESTHER นำมาใช้จริงคือเปลือกแมคคาเดเมีย ซึ่งรับซื้อมาจากเกษตรกรในพื้นที่ดอยตุง ผสมกับเรซิ่นเพื่อขึ้นรูปเป็นอ่างล้างหน้าหรือท็อปเคาน์เตอร์ ซึ่งมีคุณสมบัติด้านการใช้งานที่แตกต่าง โดยสามารถซ่อมแซมพื้นผิวจากรอยขีดข่วนได้ด้วยการขัดด้วยกระดาษทราย อีกทั้งยังมีความยืดหยุ่นและความทนทานสูง ลดโอกาสการแตกร้าว และมีการผสมสาร Microban เพื่อช่วยยับยั้งการเกิดเชื้อรา เหมาะสมกับสภาพแวดล้อมที่มีความชื้นสูงอย่างพื้นที่ห้องน้ำ

The direction of bathroom equipment today is moving toward a Smart Living approach, integrating modern innovations with design that emphasizes both aesthetics and product standards. Karat Enterprise has introduced the new brand “ESTHER,” and developed the ORGANICA Basin collection, focusing on material selection and production processes that minimize environmental impact.
One of the agricultural materials currently in use is macadamia shells sourced from farmers in the Doi Tung area. The shells are combined with resin and formed into basins or countertop surfaces. Scratches on these surfaces can be repaired through simple sanding. It also provides greater flexibility and durability, reducing the risk of cracking. In addition, Microban is incorporated to inhibit mold growth, making it well-suited for humid bathroom environments.

Nakhon Sawan is marked by a deeply rooted and distinctive Thai-Chinese cultural identity. Responding to this context, IF (Integrated Field), architect of Central Nakhon Sawan, interpret the lines and proportions of traditional Chinese roof forms in a contemporary expression, elevating them into a primary architectural element that defines the building from the very first impression.
The extended span of these curved roofs necessitated the use of long-span materials. To achieve this, the architects specified COLORBOND® Steel in Carbonic Grey for the roofing, whose its crisp finish sharpening the definition of the form, while the dark tonal quality lends a modern interpretation of Chinese character.
This language continues at the entrance façade, where COLORBOND® Steel in Desert Wind is introduced through a corrugated profile. The interplay of rhythm and depth across the surface reinforces a cohesive architectural expression, seamlessly linking roof and wall into a unified whole.

Advancements in printing technology have significantly expanded its role beyond conventional image reproduction. Today, digital printing enables the on-demand production of customized wall surfaces, offering high-resolution color, diverse patterning, and surface textures that closely emulate natural materials. This is Dimense, a printing and embossing technology that produce both image and texture simultaneously into what can be described as ‘structure on demand.’

ในช่วงการระบาดของโควิด-19 อาคารซึ่งพึ่งพาระบบปรับอากาศต้องปิดหรือจำกัดการใช้งาน ในขณะที่โบสถ์ซึ่งเปิดรับลมธรรมชาติกลับยังคงสามารถทำหน้าที่รับใช้ชุมชนได้อย่างต่อเนื่อง การระบายอากาศตามธรรมชาติจึงไม่ใช่แนวคิดเชิงสิ่งแวดล้อมในเชิงทฤษฎีอีกต่อไป หากแต่เป็นรูปแบบของความยืดหยุ่นที่พิสูจน์ตนเองผ่านภาวะวิกฤต

During the COVID-19 pandemic, there is a clear difference between churches dependent on sealed envelopes and mechanical air-conditioning, and those relying on natural ventilation. Natural ventilation was no longer an abstract environmental concept, but a mode of resilience proven through crisis.
all(zone), led by Rachaporn Choochuey, recognized the architectural significance of this experience and elevated it to the level of core design concept for the Divine Mercy Chapel in Bang Bo District, Samut Prakan Province. This idea becomes one of the project’s most radical decisions—the elimination of windows and air-conditioning systems.

ในบริบทของงานสถาปัตยกรรมร่วมสมัยที่มีการพัฒนาไปสู่รูปแบบที่หลากหลายมากขึ้น วัสดุมุงหลังคาแบบดั้งเดิม เช่น คอนกรีตหรือกระเบื้องเซรามิก ยังมีข้อจำกัด โดยเฉพาะในด้านการสะสมความร้อนและการส่งผ่านเสียงจากฝนตก หรือการขยายตัวของโลหะในสภาพอากาศร้อน จากแนวคิดดังกล่าว นำไปสู่การพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ CMR Ceramic Metal Roof รุ่น Hybrid Shield

Within the context of contemporary architectural practice, conventional roofing materials such as concrete or ceramic tiles may not always accommodate emerging demands for thermal performance and acoustic behavior. Issues of heat accumulation and noise transmission—especially during rainfall or from thermal expansion—remain inherent challenges. This approach led to the development of the CMR – Ceramic Metal Roof, Hybrid Shield.
By applying ceramic coating technology, the surface has been refined to achieve a softer visual quality while retaining a controlled level of roughness that enhances acoustic absorption. The polymer-modified composite coating technology, which blends binder with polymers instead of using natural stone aggregates, reduces rain noise intensity while improving thermal performance and surface durability.
