The European Heritage Days 2025 kicked off with its opening event at the Royal Danish Embassy in Bangkok on 3 September.

With speeches from H.E. Danny Annan, Ambassador of Denmark to Thailand, H.E. Jean-Claude Poimboeuf, Ambassador of France to Thailand and Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt, the event introduced Krung Thep Creative Streets, the highlight program of this year’s European Heritage Days (15–21 Sept).

Soon, European and Thai artists will transform Bangkok’s streets with murals, guided tours, and live events.

Phetchabun, Thailand — Heavy rainfall over recent days has triggered the most severe flooding in over 14 years in Phetchabun province, with nearby Loei also facing widespread inundation. Authorities have confirmed that more than 7,000 households and over 50 communities in Lom Sak district are currently affected.

In Rawai, Phuket, Lord Shrimant Ganpati Bappa Devalai by Phuket9 has emerged as a new spiritual landmark, bridging Thai and Indian traditions. Inspired by the 132-year-old Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganapati Temple in Pune, India, it is the only one of its kind in Thailand and a symbol of prosperity, culture, and devotion.

🔹 The first edition is planned for late 2026 in Chonburi province (exact venue still under consideration)

Our Story

Founded in May 2018 by Mr. Pawan Mishra, Businessman & philanthropist, based in Bangkok, Thailand, Indo Thai News has been conceived with an aim of fostering Travel & Tourism between the two amazing countries, India & Thailand.

We have been covering events and festivals that take place in either of the countries for some time now. The social media pages of Indo Thai News have helped travelers find relevant and useful info while traveling the two countries, through the numerous articles and posts.

To supplement the already existing media, we made a foray into the print media and launched our youngest member to the Indo Thai News house; the ‘IndoThai Lifestyle’ magazine. The Magazine is published in English & Thai Languages and focuses upon the following genres: Travel & Tourism, Food & Wellness, Religion & Culture, News & Events.

Soft/Digital Copy of the edition is available on Indo Thai News website & Mobile Application (Android + iOS) for global outreach.
