Kudun & Partners hosted an exclusive industry roundtable, “Navigating the Next Big Move: Competition Law and the Future of the Platform Economy Act” on 31 August 2026, bringing together representatives from leading international and Thai digital platform operators, competition law experts, academia and industry stakeholders.
The discussion explored key developments shaping Thailand’s digital platform landscape, including:

- Striking the right balance between effective regulation, particularly in considering ex-ante regulation
- Navigating an increasingly complex landscape of overlapping regulatory requirements affecting digital platform operators
- Building competition-law defenses and robust business justifications to support commercial practices and respond effectively to regulatory scrutiny
Moderated by Kom Vachiravarakarn, Partner and Head of C-AT Practice, Kudun & Partners, the session featured perspectives from Asst.
