My sister, Hailey, always got her way. Our shallow parents made sure of it, skipping my events, putting her first—every time. I learned to live with it.

Recently, my boyfriend proposed. Guess what? Hailey got engaged right after me.

Everyone knew how much the Rosewood Estate meant to me. It wasn’t just a venue—it was where my grandparents got married, where I spent summers playing in the gardens, where I dreamed of saying my vows.

But Hailey? She didn’t care. She just wanted to win.

The moment she got engaged, she rushed to book this venue. Not because she loved it—just because I did. And my parents? They backed her, as always.

My mom scoffed. "Stop being so petty."

"She booked it first," Dad added. "That’s how life works."

I felt hurt and helpless, but I had to rush to my grandparents to bring them pills. That's when I shared this story. To my shock, Grandpa smirked. "Don’t worry, sweetie. We took care of it."

SOMEONE COVERED MY HUSBAND'S CAR IN GLITTER — AND UNCOVERED YEARS OF LIES.

Our neighborhood was pretty normal. Nothing special, nothing terrible. But we had one problem.

Mark.

Or more specifically, my husband Liam's never-ending feud with Mark, the guy two houses down.

Liam hated him. Liam wasn't just annoyed at him, he full-on, deep-down, couldn't-stand-him hate. And Mark felt the same. Every time they talked, it turned into an argument. If they could avoid each other, they would.

So when they got into another fight — this time over a package that ended up in Mark's mailbox — I barely reacted. Just another day.

But the next morning? Oh, I knew Mark had taken it to a new level.

Liam's car was covered in glitter.

I mean, it was everywhere. Like a craft store explosion. Tiny, shiny specks stuck to the windshield, the hood, the door handles — sparkling in the sun, impossible to clean. And, of course, Liam had left early for work, so I was the one stuck dealing with it.

As I scrubbed, grumbling about our ridiculous neighbor, a woman's voice behind me made me freeze.

"IF I WERE YOU, I'D GLITTER HIS CAR TOO."

I turned around, startled. ⬇️
