We need to stop seeing life in such strict binaries. It was a success or a failure. It was good or it was bad. Life so often lives in the unexplainable. How do you measure an experience when that experience will have inevitably pushed you, made you grow, taught you something invaluable about yourself? How do you compare one unique life to another? What if success is you trying and honoring yourself on a daily basis? What if you don't have to be a household name to feel you have made a difference in the lives of others? What if you felt significant simply because you exist and are here? Your ambitions can be big or small. I believe the only real risk of failure is failing to ever listen within and find what is true and still and honest there. Everything else is information. Everything else is your life, full of lessons and growth and moments of backtrack followed by moments of easy forward momentum. Failing to hear yourself, getting to know yourself, and becoming aware of yourself is the only real risk. Get outside the binaries. They don't define you. You define you.
