A Message from Pastor And Tan of New Beginnings Calvary Chapel Patong:
Despite the opening of Phuket to international tourists, Patong still has around 60 percent of family with low income or without work. Many families had returned to their hometowns. But, still, there are many people remaining here because they don't have homes to return to. For the last 2 months, we had to cut down the feeding program from 5 days a week to 3 days a week due to the lack of funds. Before that, we had been serving food to the needy for the past 30 months. Right now, our funds are nearly gone. Please help us help others in need. As the price of groceries and everything is continually going up, we find it very difficult to provide food to the needy with our limited funds.
