Today in music history: 1979 - Led Zeppelin Release Their Final Album

On August 22, 1979, Led Zeppelin released their eighth and final studio album, In Through the Out Door, in the United States. This album marked the end of an era: just over a year later, drummer John Bonham tragically passed away, and the band disbanded soon after.
