Like playing whack-a-mole with these call centres!

Another illegal call centre raided was raided in Chiang Mai today with two Chinese citizens and one Thai lady arrested. The Chinese comment say they were paid to come to work in Thailand by a boss in China. A warrant is out for another Thai person, though this arrested woman claims no knowledge of the scam and says she was merely hired to go banking, without knowing the source of the money. Police say that one known victim of this call centre was an elderly woman in a country outside Thailand. Other victims are being confirmed.
