Our first day in Chiang Mai was a phenomenal experience. We hiked through waterfalls, played with baby tigers, gawked at gorgeous gold Buddhas and more!

We scheduled a great 1/2 day tour of Chiang Mai to Mae Sa Waterfall Hike, Tiger Kingdom, Doi Suthep Temple and a local Thai food market!

The night train from Bangkok to Chiang Mai was an experience we will never forget! A lot of laughs and some bewilderment, but a good time all the same. Here's tips and details of the night train to remember, plus the tail of the Eastern toilet (or so we're calling it!).

After our sightseeing in Bangkok, we grabbed our bags and walked over to the Bangkok Hua Lamphong Railway Station for our night train ride to Chiang Mai.

Going to Kauai? Whether for romance or family vaca, don't forget to make a reservation at The Beach House cuz premium fish barely gets this fresh on a plate anywhere else in America!

The Beach House has been rated the #1 most romantic spot in Poipu for a number of years, and still upholds its title. It's a very secluded restaurant built where the shore juts out over Lawa'i Beach cove.

If you want to travel like the locals and save yourself a few bucks, consider taking buses around Nice, France. Here are some schedules and info on getting from the airport into town.

Upon arrival at the airport, you'll be tempted to hop in a cab for the short ride into town. Don't. The ride is an expensive 30€ flat-rate for a ride that is very short. Instead you can catch the Route 98 express bus.

Even though we're in Thailand today, all these boats remind us of our great sunset cruise with Capt Andy's Sailing Adventures and Raft Expeditions last year in Kauai, HI!

Brian and I were looking for something a little more romantic with a nicer boat and nicer food, we went for Capt Andy's Na Pali Sunset Dinner.
