เดวิด วันนี้คุณมาทำงานเช้าจังเลยนะคะ
(David, you’re at work so early today!)

เดวิด:

ใช่ครับ เมื่อคืนผมนอนไว แล้วก็ตื่นเช้ามาก เลยมีเวลาเดินเล่นก่อนมาทำงาน
(Yes, I went to bed early last night and woke up very early, so I had time for a walk before coming to work.)

พิม:

ว้าว ฟังดูดีมากเลยค่ะ กรุงเทพตอนเช้าๆ อากาศสดชื่นใช่มั้ยคะ?
(Wow, that sounds nice. Is the air fresh in Bangkok in the morning?)

เดวิด:

ครับ สดชื่นกว่าตอนเย็นเยอะ ผมชอบเดินแถวสวนลุมตอนเช้า คนไม่เยอะ
(Yes, it’s much fresher than in the evening. I like walking around Lumpini Park in the morning — not too crowded.)

พิม:

ดีจังเลย แล้วตอนนี้คุณชินกับการใช้ชีวิตในกรุงเทพหรือยังคะ?
( That’s great. Are you used to living in Bangkok now?)

เดวิด:

ก็ค่อนข้างชินแล้วครับ ถึงจะยังพูดไทยไม่คล่องมาก แต่ก็พยายามใช้ภาษาไทยทุกวัน
(I’m quite used to it now. Although I still don’t speak Thai fluently, I try to use it every day.)

พิม:

คุณพูดได้ดีขึ้นมากเลยนะคะ สำเนียงก็ดีขึ้นเยอะ
(You’ve improved a lot! Your accent is much better too.)

เดวิด:

ขอบคุณครับ ผมว่าการได้พูดกับเพื่อนร่วมงานทุกวันช่วยได้เยอะ
(Thank you. I think speaking with coworkers every day really helps.)

พิม:
