Any Thai food lovers in here ?
🗽 Brooklyn is calling... and I must go (back) for Thai Food! 👑Honestly, I never thought I’d be dying to fly back to New York just for Thai food. But this isn’t your basic takeout—it’s "Royal Thai Cuisine" hidden in the heart of Brooklyn. It’s the kind of refined taste that’s hard to find even in Thailand, let alone the States!I’ll admit, I didn't plan on eating here. I saw how stunning the plating was and thought, "Is this just for the 'gram?" But fate stepped in while I was waiting for another reservation. I figured I’d grab a few bites... Fast forward: the table was full, and we polished off every single plate.I actually regretted my other reservation! Who knew you’d find an authentic ‘Ma Hor’, a fragrant ‘Kaeng Ranjuan’, or a perfectly balanced ‘Pomelo Salad’ in Brooklyn? The ‘Mackerel Phla’ was a dream, but the ‘Crab Curry’? Absolute perfection. It’s the most "correct" flavor profile I’ve ever had. I’m ready to book a flight back just for this. "I need NYC right now!" 🗽✈️

Anyone else make the big move in their 30s? Let’s talk! 🌏✈️

Deciding to move abroad in your 30s—a time when life is "supposed" to be settled—is a massive leap of faith. It’s definitely not as easy as it looks on Instagram! Whether you moved for work, studies, or a fresh start, I’d love to hear your stories.

How’s the homesickness hitting? Do you ever have those moments where you're eating instant noodles and suddenly feel a bit teary-eyed because you miss the street food back home? 😭

Where did you move from and where are you now? Let's do a roll call! I moved from Thailand to Portland, Oregon—where the weather is as unpredictable as my mood some days! 🌦️

What was the hardest part of adjusting? Especially for those who arrived with zero support system—no friends, no family, just you vs. everything from paperwork to fixing the sink. How long did it take you to feel "at home"?

Any advice for the next wave? What’s the one thing you wish someone had told you before you boarded that flight?

Drop your experiences, rants, or tips in the comments below. Let’s support each other in this wild journey of living abroad! 🙏✨

OMG, where has this been all my life?! 🧁✨ Just had my very first Bundt Cake experience here in Portland, and I’m officially obsessed! Nothing Bundt Cakes

I honestly had no clue what a "Bundt" was (I thought it was just a fancy giant donut lol!). But one bite in and I was floored. It’s so much denser and moister than regular cake—that texture is just everything. 🤤

Found out something super sweet: the name comes from the German word "Bund," which means "gathering" or "community." It was literally made to be shared among friends. I love that so much! It’s the perfect little "Dopamine hit" we mamas need to recharge after a long day.

If you’re in PDX or just a dessert lover, you HAVE to try this. Consider this your sign to treat yourself today! 💖

What’s your favorite cake flavor, mamas? Or better yet, who’s got the best Bundt hookup in town? Let me know below! 👇

Hello, fellow mamas! I’m so happy to have you here in our little corner of positivity.

Today is a truly special day for me. For the first time in what feels like forever, I finally picked up my makeup brushes and traded my "stay-at-home" loungewear for an outfit with vibrant colors. To be honest, the moment I looked in the mirror, my mood shifted instantly. It felt like I found a piece of "myself" that I had lost somewhere between the endless diaper changes and baby meals.

If any of you are feeling burnt out or have forgotten what it feels like to shine, I want to share some bite-sized research that proves "getting dressed up isn't vanity—it's self-care."

🎨 How "Colors" and "Beauty" Heal a Mother’s Heart
There are actually fascinating psychological reasons why dressing up makes us feel so much better:

Mom’s Daily Positive Note: "Being a devoted mother doesn't mean you have to leave your vibrance behind. When Mom is happy, her children feel that energy through her smiles. Try grabbing your favorite lipstick today—you'll be surprised at how much brighter the world looks!"

1. Enclothed Cognition
Research from Northwestern University suggests that the clothes we wear directly affect our mental processes and how we feel about ourselves. When we wear clothes that make us feel confident or vibrant, our brain receives a signal that "we are capable and valued," instantly boosting happiness and focus.

2. Dopamine Dressing
Fashion psychologists confirm that choosing bright, cheerful colors (like yellow, pink, or your favorite hue) can trigger the release of Dopamine, our "feel-good" hormone. Seeing yourself in a look you love helps lower cortisol (stress) levels that often build up from the daily demands of parenting.

3. The Lipstick Effect
A study from Harvard Medical School found that wearing makeup can lead to a boost in self-esteem. Applying makeup isn't about seeking approval from others; it’s a small "morning ritual" that tells yourself, "I am worth taking care of today."

Mom’s Daily Positive Note: "Being a devoted mother doesn't mean you have to leave your vibrance behind. When Mom is happy, her children feel that energy through her smiles. Try grabbing your favorite lipstick today—you'll be surprised at how much brighter the world looks!"

Honestly, I saw this on a deal and thought, "Why not?" I have to apply lotion before bed anyway, so there was nothing to lose. But the results? Way beyond what I expected.
As a mom, holding my baby all day really takes a toll. Every morning, I used to wake up with such heavy, sore legs—almost like I’d run a marathon in my sleep. Plus, my mind just wouldn't shut off at night, making it so hard to fall asleep. 😴😩
But after trying this Magnesium lotion... ✅ Legs feel light: No more waking up with that painful, exhausted feeling in my lower body. ✅ Better Sleep: I’ve been drifting off so much faster. It feels like my body finally knows how to "switch off."
I’m only sharing this because it actually worked for me. I was hesitant to even post a link because I didn't want it to seem like just another "ad," but I know how frustrating leg pain and restless nights can be, so I don't want you to miss out!

🤱 A New Mom’s Guide to Stress Management: Love Your Baby, But Don't Forget to Love Yourself
Being a mother is no easy feat, and feeling exhausted or stressed is not a mistake. Here are some ways to recharge your heart and help you feel like yourself again:

1. The 5-Minute Golden Rule (Micro-Self Care)
On days filled with breastfeeding, diaper changes, and endless soothing, find just 5 minutes that truly belong to you. For example:

Sip a hot cup of tea or coffee while the baby sleeps.

Listen to 1 or 2 of your favorite songs.

Apply a scented lotion you love.

Trick: Small, consistent moments of joy prevent burnout much better than waiting for a big vacation.

2. "Baby Sleeps, Mom (Must) Rest"
We often use the baby’s nap time to do laundry, wash bottles, or sweep the floor. However, your body needs restoration. Try to dedicate at least one nap time a day to lying down or sitting quietly—without touching any chores. Remember: "A well-rested mom is a happy mom."

3. Stop Chasing Perfection (Done is Better Than Perfect)
The house might be messy, the laundry might be unfolded, or dinner might be store-bought—and that is perfectly okay. Lower your "perfection" standards and prioritize your own energy instead. Accept that you cannot do everything perfectly all at once.

4. Don’t Bottle It Up
Stress multiplies when kept to yourself. Find someone you trust to talk to—whether it’s your husband, a close friend, or a support group for moms. Simply sharing that "Today was really tough" can feel like a huge weight has been lifted off your shoulders.

5. Reconnect with the Outside World
Staying inside four walls with the sound of a crying baby can feel isolating. Try putting the baby in a stroller and taking a walk to catch the breeze in the garden, or simply open a window to let in the morning sunlight. A change of scenery and some Vitamin D can help reset your brain chemistry and make you feel more relaxed.

When life gets too serious, the fastest way to break the stress cycle is often to lean into something a little bit ridiculous.

Here are some simple, silly, and research-backed ways to instantly lower your cortisol and reset your mood:

1. The "Bad" Dance Party
Put on the most upbeat, obnoxious song you can think of and dance as badly as possible. I’m talking full-on "wacky inflatable tube man" energy. Moving your limbs in unpredictable, goofy ways releases physical tension and forces your brain to switch from "crisis mode" to "play mode."

2. The "Aggressive" Bubble Wrap Pop
Don't just pop the bubbles; treat them like they owe you money. There is something deeply satisfying and tactile about the "pop-pop-pop" that acts as a sensory grounding technique. If you don't have physical wrap, there are virtual "bubble wrap" apps designed specifically for this.

3. Talk to an Inanimate Object
Find a houseplant, a lamp, or a rubber duck. Vent to it. Say, "Look, Phil, I am really overthinking this email." Giving your stress a physical "target" that can't talk back often makes the problem feel smaller and more absurd.

4. Fake a "Santa" Laugh
Even if you're in a terrible mood, physically forcing a deep, belly-shaking "Ho Ho Ho" can trick your body. Laughter—even the fake kind—lowers cortisol and triggers endorphins. It’s hard to stay spiraling when you’re literally making yourself giggle at how weird you sound.

5. The "Reverse" Count
When your mind is racing, count backward from 100 by 7s. It’s just difficult enough that your brain has to drop the stressful thought to handle the math, but silly enough that you'll probably lose track and laugh at yourself.

6. Adult "Coloring" (With a Twist)
Grab a coloring book or just a piece of junk mail and a pen. The rule? You must color outside the lines. Use "wrong" colors—make the grass purple and the sun teal. It’s a tiny, harmless act of rebellion that tells your brain it’s okay to not be perfect for five minutes.

7. The "Nature Pill" (Barefoot Style)
If you can, go outside and stand barefoot in the grass (or even just touch a tree). It sounds like "wellness fluff," but "earthing" or grounding your senses in nature is a biological circuit-breaker for stress.

I wish these help you at least make you feel a little bit better 💜

"2026 is about making room for what matters. Living in a new place full of strangers has been difficult, but it’s also been a giant 'reset' button.

This year, I’m letting go of the fear of being 'the new girl.' I’m letting go of the need to have it all figured out. I’m just going to be real, raw, and present with my little one.

If you could drop one worry or stressor right now and not carry it into the rest of 2026, what would it be? Let’s support each other in the comments. ❤️"

To our fellow citizens and the international community,

Thailand has consistently pursued a peaceful resolution to the conflict. However, Cambodia has violated the ceasefire agreement.
We urge everyone to help spread the truth: Thailand respects peace — but peace must be mutual.
