Maya Bay Reef Sharks. Just another video of some sharks in Maya Bay and a Ray that decided to hang out with them that day.

Slowly Maya Bay is healing, as it now stands the beach, jungle and sections of Maya Bay are set to remain closed until at least 2021. Ocean Quest Global continue to work on propagating further coral nursery's and the Thai National Park along with Reef Guardian Thailand are carrying out essential conservation work to restore and then preserve the natural beauty of Maya & Koh Phi Leh.

Yet even with the bay closed we still find debris from the tourism industry washing in (a plastic bottle can be seen floating in one of the shots in this video). As a tourist in Thailand you can do your part to keep this country clean by simply by throwing your trash in a bin.

Restoring Maya - Coral Propagation in Maya Bay, Koh Phi Phi
