လုံးဝအခြေခံကနေစပြီး အင်္ဂလိပ်စာလေ့လာလိုသူတွေအနေနဲ့ မဖြစ်မနေသိသင့်တဲ့စကားလုံး (၁၀၀၀) တထောင်ရှိပါတယ်။

စကားလုံး (၄) လုံးမြောက် စကားလုံးကို အောက်ပါအတိုင်း လေ့လာနိုင်ပါတယ်။

📚 English Lesson: Present Perfect vs. Past Simple ⏳

Do you know the difference between these two tenses? Let’s break it down! 👇
Present Perfect နဲ့ Past Simple ကွာခြားချက်လေးတွေ လေ့လာကြရအောင်။

✅ Present Perfect (have/has + past participle)
🔹 We use it when the time is not specific or when the action has a connection to the present.
အချိန်အတိအကျ မပါဘူး အခု အချိန်နဲ့ ဆက်စပ်မှုရှိနေသေးတဲ့ ကိစ္စတွေကို ရေးပြောချင်ရင် Present Perfect ကို သုံးတယ်။

Examples:

I have visited Paris. (We don’t say when—the experience is important.)
ပဲရစ်ကို ရောက်ဖူးတယ်ဆိုတဲ့ အတွေ့အကြုံကို အဓိက ပြောချင်တာ။ ဘယ်ချိနိက လည်ခဲ့တယ် ပြောချင်တာ မဟုတ်ဘူး။

She has lost her keys. (They're still lost now!)
သူ သော့ပျောက်သွားပြီ။ သော့က အခုထိ ရှာမတွေ့သေးဘူး ပြောချင်တာ။

✅ Past Simple (verb + -ed or irregular form)
🔹 We use it when the action happened at a specific time in the past (even if you don’t say the time directly).
အတိတ်က ပြီးစီးပြီးသား အခုနဲ့ ဆက်စပ်မှုမရှိတော့တဲ့ ကိစ္စတွေကို ရေးပြောချင်ရင် Past Simple ကို သုံးတယ်။
Examples:

I visited Paris in 2019. (We know when!)
ငါက 2019 မှာ ပဲရစ်အလည်သွားခဲ့တယ်။

She lost her keys yesterday. (Specific time = past event)
သူ မနေ့က သော့ပျောက်ခဲ့တယ်။ ( အခု တွေ့ပြီလား မတွေ့သေးဘူးလား မပြောဘူး။ သော့ပျောက်ခဲ့တာပဲ ပြောချင်တာ။ )

🧠 Tips to remember:

If you say when, use Past Simple.
ဘယ်တုန်းက လုပ်ခဲ့တယ် ပြောချင်ရင် Past Simple သုံး။

If the action affects the present, use Present Perfect.
အခုထိ အကျိုးသက်ရောက်မှု ရှိသေးတဲ့ အတိတ်ကိစ္စကို ပြောချင်ရင် Present Perfect ကို သုံးပါ။
