3️⃣ Comprehension Question – Who has a van?
Students answered: “Sam has a van.”
4️⃣ Name the Objects – I showed objects, and students wrote their names, such as van and bag.

✅ Builds confidence in reading aloud
✅ Helps students recognize words and sentence patterns
✅ Prepares students to better understand the story 📚✨

Today in our Sunday class, we did our first activity to introduce our lesson on reading comprehension. 📚

The students worked in pairs and small groups. Each team was given phrase cards that were parts of a sentence. One student wore a phrase card, while the partner read the phrase aloud. The student wearing the card then listened carefully and wrote down what their partner read.

After that, each team read their sentence aloud to the class.🗣️📚

This activity helped prepare the students for our main topic—reading a story and understanding it better.

Benefits of the Activity:
✅ Improves listening skills
✅ Strengthens reading and pronunciation
✅ Develops writing and spelling skills
✅ Helps students understand sentence structure
✅ Encourages teamwork and communication
✅ Builds confidence in reading aloud 📚✨

A fun and meaningful start to our reading comprehension lesson! 📖✨
