In Ratchaburi province, a 73-year-old man named Prasan Numthuek was found dead in his home, the victim of a close-range shooting. The fatal incident occurred at house number 81/1, Moo 14, in the Khung Phayom subdistrict of Baan Pong district.

On July 24, Police Major Surachai Boonin of Baan Pong Police Station received the report and promptly informed Police Colonel Kobchok Lektakul. A team comprising investigators, forensic officers from Ratchaburi province, and personnel from the Ratchaburi Ruam Jai Charity Foundation was dispatched to the scene.

Prasan had sustained gunshot wounds to his left chest and left shoulder blade, believed to have been caused by an 11mm firearm. Two spent 11mm shell casings were recovered at the scene as evidence.

A British mother of two has been arrested in Mauritius after allegedly attempting to smuggle drugs in her six-year-old son’s suitcase.

Natashia Artug, 35, was detained along with seven others after authorities discovered cannabis valued at £1.6 million in luggage on a British Airways flight from Gatwick to Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport last month.

Officials say the child’s suitcase contained 24 packages of drugs weighing 14kg, describing the act as “outrageous and inhumane.”

“This is one of the most disturbing cases we’ve seen in recent years,” authorities said.

M**h Disguised as Solar Panels Seized at LAX

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) seized nearly 300 pounds of m**hamphetamine that had been cleverly disguised as solar panels. The illegal shipment was bound for New Zealand when authorities intercepted it, acting on an anonymous tip.
