In a heartwarming display of community spirit, a Thai rescuer and several locals in Chachoengsao helped a Chinese woman recover 20,000 baht in cash after she accidentally dropped her bag while riding a motorcycle on Bangna-Trat Road on Sunday, May 24. The woman, identified as a 28-year-old Chinese national, was traveling to Bang Saen Beach in Chon Buri when her bag fell onto the road, scattering banknotes and causing her distress. A young man in Khon Kaen has sparked an online debate after questioning why police at a checkpoint were preparing to send a case to court instead of simply issuing a traffic fine for not carrying a driver’s licence. The incident occurred at a checkpoint operated by Ban Fang Police Station in Ban Fang District, Khon Kaen Province. Police later explained that under Thai law, drivers who cannot present a valid driver’s licence cannot simply pay a fine at the police station in some cases.

The Panthay Nara Singha Fishermen's Group in Samut Sakhon has developed a sustainable clam farming model that creatively manages black-striped tilapia, integrating local wisdom with scientific principles. The group's 55-rai clam pond is open to fishing enthusiasts and practices integrated aquaculture with species like seabass and mud crabs, generating additional income. To address the issue of black-striped tilapia entering the pond, the group uses these fish as feed for seabass and crabs, thereby reducing feed costs and selling fresh fish for additional revenue.
