เปิดงานสัมมนาโดย คุณใจเพชร จันทรวงศ์ Associate Director - Green Solution and New Business Marketing ที่มานำเสนอนวัตกรรมผ้าใบคอนกรีต (Concrete Fabric) ซึ่งเป็นวัสดุคอนกรีตแบบพิเศษ ช่วยเสริมความแข็งแรงคันดิน กันดินสไลด์ งานกักเก็บน้ำ ประหยัดเวลาและแรงงานมากกว่าการหล่อคอนกรีตประมาณ 2-2.5 เท่า ทั้งยังช่วย ลดมลภาวะต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม ลดขยะจากการก่อสร้าง และมาถึงช่วงไฮไลท์ซึ่งได้รับเกียรติจากผู้เชี่ยวชาญมาให้ความรู้ ผ่านการบรรยาย 2 หัวข้อ เริ่มด้วย รศ.ดร.ทวีชัย สำราญวานิช อาจารย์ประจำสาขาวิศวกรรมโยธา มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา ร่วมกับ คุณณัฐ รักตะสุวรรณ RMC Manager-East 3 และ คุณกฤตนนท์ อยู่วังแก้ว วิศวกรผู้เชี่ยวชาญ ที่มาบรรยายในหัวข้อ “การทำงานคอนกรีตในสภาวะอากาศที่เปลี่ยนแปลง” จากอุณหภูมิเฉลี่ยของโลกที่สูงขึ้น ทำให้ สภาพอากาศของโลกเปลี่ยนแปลงไป ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเรื่องน้ำแข็งขั้วโลกที่เริ่มละลาย ระดับน้ำทะเลที่สูงขึ้นหรือการทำให้อากาศแปรปรวน ซึ่งเป็นสัญญาณเตือนว่าเราต้องรีบหาแนวทางแก้ไข ดังนั้นการใช้สินค้าที่เป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมถือเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการช่วยโลกได้ โดยซีแพคได้พัฒนาสูตรการผลิตคอนกรีตคาร์บอนต่ำซีแพค ที่มีส่วนผสมของปูนงานโครงสร้าง เอสซีจี คาร์บอนต่ำ และเถ้าลอยถ่านหินทดแทนการใช้ปูนซีเมนต์ปอร์ตแลนด์ ช่วยลดการปล่อยก๊าซคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์ (CO2) เป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม นอกจากนี้การออกแบบคอนกรีตควรจะต้องออกแบบให้เหมาะสมกับโครงสร้างและพื้นที่เพื่อให้โครงสร้างของคอนกรีตมีอายุการใช้งานยาวนาน

และปิดท้ายด้วย คุณพัชนันท์ ทิพารัตน์ และ คุณชนาธิป แก้วเกิด วิศวกรผู้เชี่ยวชาญ บรรยาย ในหัวข้อ “คอนกรีตซีแพคซูเปอร์พลัส และคอนกรีตมารีนซีแพค” สินค้า High Value Product (HVP) ของภาคตะวันออกซึ่งส่วนใหญ่ เป็นพื้นที่ติดทะเล โดยซีแพคได้ออกแบบคอนกรีตมาเพื่อตอบโจทย์งานก่อสร้างสำหรับพื้นที่ติดทะเล โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ที่อยู่ในระยะห่างจากชายฝั่ง 0-5 กิโลเมตร ซึ่งสาเหตุของปัญหานั้น คลอไรด์และซัลเฟตจะส่งผลร้ายต่อโครงสร้าง มักพบเจออยู่ในน้ำทะเล ไอทะเล น้ำกร่อย เป็นต้น สำหรับคอนกรีตมารีนซีแพคมีคุณสมบัติทึบน้ำ ช่วยต้านทานการซึมผ่านของ คลอไรด์และซัลเฟต โครงสร้างคอนกรีตแข็งแรง ป้องกันการเกิดสนิมของเหล็กเสริม

A Culinary Journey on Walking Street, Pattaya

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Pattaya's famed Walking Street, the newly opened Nashaa Di Hatti restaurant, Flavours of the World, offers an exciting and diverse dining experience that boldly blends Indian, Thai, Uzbek and European cuisine. Ambiance:
Upon entering, you're greeted with beautiful modern and elegant decor. The atmosphere is both vibrant and cosy, enhanced by soft lighting that elevates the dining experience, making it an ideal spot for both casual meals and special occasions.

Menu Variety:
The menu is impressively extensive, showcasing signature dishes from various culinary traditions. We highly recommend the Indian cuisine, particularly the curry dishes, which were the standout offerings, simmered in rich, creamy sauces. Additionally, the Uzbek shashlik kebab, infused with aromatic spices, featured succulent pieces of lamb that were rich in flavor and beautifully presented. The famous Thai dishes, such as Som Tam, Tom Yum, and various seafood offerings, were also excellent. For those craving European flavors, the selection is equally enticing.

Taste and Presentation:
Each dish we tried was artfully presented, showcasing the chef’s attention to detail. Each cuisine had its own separate kitchen. The flavours were vibrant and well-balanced, reflecting the authenticity of each culture while catering to the palate of international guests. The use of fresh ingredients was evident, elevating the overall dining experience.

Overall, Flavours of the World is a delightful addition to the Pattaya dining scene. It successfully captures the essence of multiple cuisines while creating a unique fusion that tantalises the taste buds. Whether you're a local or a visitor, this restaurant is a must-visit for those looking to explore a variety of international flavours in one place. With its inviting atmosphere, diverse menu, and attentive service, it certainly deserves a visit.

The East of Siam recently visited Harat Irish Pub, a charming chain of Irish pubs located in front of Markland Breac, on Beach road. As soon as we stepped inside, I was impressed by the Irish sports pub decor, wooden beams, soft ambient lighting, and numerous televisions showing sports.

The pub has a cosy and lively vibe that perfectly balances a casual gathering spot with a place to enjoy a bit of peace. The music selection featured a mix of contemporary hits, setting the perfect backdrop for a relaxing evening.

Food: We decided to try the assorted beer snacks (900 BHT), a mixed set of grilled cheese, onion rings, chicken wings, pork ribs, sausages, and French fries, served with tartar sauce and BBQ sauce. All the flavours were rich and comforting, with generous portions that left us feeling satisfied. My companion ordered the salmon burger, which they praised for its freshness and perfection.

Drinks: The beer selection was impressive, with a wide range of local and Irish brews on tap.

Service: The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great suggestions, making us feel right at home.

Overall Experience: I would definitely recommend Harat Irish Pub to anyone looking for a taste of Ireland. Whether you’re a fan of hearty pub food, a lover of good beer, or just looking for a welcoming atmosphere to enjoy with friends, this place has it all.

Romsai Brasseria, the beachfront Thai restaurant, location on corner Pattaya Klang offers a delightful escape for both locals and tourists seeking an authentic Thai experience. The ambiance is enchanting, with relaxing yet elegant decor that harmoniously embodies coastal charm. Each vibrant splash of colour enhances the dining experience. Seating options include cosy tables on an open rooftop terrace, boasting stunning ocean views that transform dinner into a picturesque setting as the sun sets.

The menu boasts a wide variety of authentic Thai dishes, showcasing the rich flavours and textures that Thai cuisine is renowned for. For a starter, we tried the Mieng K*m, a herbal and aromatic bite-sized appetiser that features various condiments. Next, the Khao Soi (chicken noodle in rich red curry) was a standout, offering a perfect balance; the curry was rich and aromatic, served with tender pieces of chicken and fresh vegetables.

For seafood lovers, the stir-fried prawns with garlic, chilli, and peppers were juicy and packed with flavour, beautifully complemented by a side of jasmine rice.

The staff were attentive and friendly, eager to provide recommendations and ensure a pleasant dining experience.

Prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the stunning waterfront location. Portion sizes are generous, making it a good value for both families and couples seeking a romantic meal.

Nestled in the heart of the hidden gem that is Thapphaya Soi 13 Road near Jomtien, Edelwiss has been a beloved local treasure for over 20 years, offering an authentic taste of Switzerland that is hard to match. As soon as you step inside, the atmosphere is both cosy and inviting.

Their menu features a variety of flavourful dishes, and one must-try is the fondue—an absolute classic here. The cheese blend is rich and creamy, served bubbling hot with delightful freshly baked bread (415 Baht). The meat fondue (445 Baht), which offers a choice of beef, pork, or chicken, is served in a hot pot of herbal soup, complemented by pickles, cured meats, and their signature sauces, all of which are absolutely divine. Another standout is their rösti and geschnetzeltes schweine-filet (325 Baht), a delicate pork dish served in a creamy white wine and mushroom sauce. The flavours are true to Swiss traditions, and each bite is a testament to the restaurant's dedication to authenticity.

The service is warm and homely, with staff who often feel like family. They are knowledgeable about the menu and eager to recommend dishes based on your preferences. Whether you are a first-time visitor or a long-time patron, the staff create a sense of community that enhances the dining experience.

I recently had a wonderful stay at The One Patio, a charming boutique hotel in North Pattaya, and I’d like to share my delightful experience. This modern, low-rise property is beautifully designed around a tranquil pool, providing a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Upon arrival, I was impressed by the professional and attentive staff, who welcomed me with a refreshing drink and popcorn, setting the tone for a relaxing experience.

The spacious, impeccably clean rooms feature large, comfortable beds adorned with soft, silky linens, ensuring restful nights. The hotel's fitness centre is well-equipped, making it perfect for those wishing to maintain their workout routines.

Breakfast at the hotel was a highlight, boasting a delightful array of dishes served buffet-style. There was something for everyone, guaranteeing a satisfying start to each day. After a long day of exploring, I decided to dine at Kruy Thai Restaurant, which provided a welcome escape from the hectic street scene. The menu offered an excellent selection of Thai and international dishes, and I was truly impressed by the authentic Thai flavours, as well as the perfectly cooked European dishes. The service from the staff was exceptionally friendly.

Additionally, the courtyard outside the hotel features a variety of Korean, Japanese, and Thai dining options, further enhancing the culinary experience.

Overall, The One Patio combines modern comfort, excellent amenities, and exceptional service, making it an ideal choice for travellers seeking convenience and proximity to the beach and shopping. I highly recommend this gem and look forward to returning! One Patio Hotel Pattaya
