We are The Pattaya News.com. We are a professionally managed, fully legally licensed news company based in Pattaya, Thailand. We are focused on Pattaya and Chonburi based news as well as Thailand news in general. We are unbiased, focused and with a commitment to breaking news as well as supporting our local community.
We were founded in December, 2017, by two local expats and a Thai national who were fed up with news media in the region not focused on the local happenings and the news that was important to our fellow local residents. As full time local residents ourselves, we wanted news that was unbiased, dynamic, real, not clickbait and designed to support it’s local residents, not build a profit based off of links to news that doesn’t concern the local region and country.
We started as a small three person operation only focused on English news and as of January 2020 have expanded to Thai, English, Russian and Japanese and include multiple full time employees including reporters, photographers, embedded video reporters who work with local government and medical agencies, editors and a webmaster. We have now partnered with The Pattaya Japanese Association to provide news in Japanese as well. We have also partnered with Pattaya Now to provide our news in Russian.
We are as of January 2020 the largest and most popular news organization in the Chon Buri area in terms of social media likes and engagement based on total engagement across multiple platforms including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram.
We look forward to you joining us for unbiased, real, in the moment local news.
