THE SMELL OF PHUKET

A New Jersey-based parfumier, Harvey Prince Organics just launched a 100% Vegan scent named after the Pearl of the Andaman... Or possibly one of its tourist attractions.

Phuket Fantasy is reported to emit the "whiff" of "sweet grapefruit, bright bergamot and clean apple blended with rich rose, lush jasmine and spicy cyclamen."

Adding to this complex olfactory melee are "sensual sandalwood, soft musk and cozy cashmeran".

The new scent also comes with an interesting back story involving a woman escaping her humdrum life for "the white sand shores of Phuket" As waves crash "softly" at her feet. She takes "a deep whiff" from her bottle of Phuket Fantasy... because... when you're in Phuket, you need to be reminded how it smells?

So, is this really the essential essense of organic Phuket? And, more importantly, where can we get some of those sweet Phuket grapefruits?
