Powerful Earthquake Felt in Bangkok A 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck central Myanmar near Mandalay, sending strong tremors to Bangkok, Thailand. Buildings swayed, causing panic and evacuations. A high-rise under construction collapsed, killing at least two people and trapping several others.Thailand has declared a state of emergency, while Myanmar is seeking international aid. 5 Milyong Pilipino Posibleng Mawalan ng Trabaho sa 2025 Dahil sa AI

Ayon sa mga eksperto, nasa 5 milyong Pilipino ang posibleng mawalan ng trabaho sa susunod na taon dahil sa mabilis na pag-usbong ng artificial intelligence (AI). Malaki ang magiging epekto nito sa industriya ng Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), partikular sa mga call center, na isa sa mga pangunahing pinagkukunan ng kabuhayan sa bansa.

Ang mga AI chatbot at automation ay nagiging mas popular sa mga kumpanya dahil sa pagiging mas mura at mas mabilis kumpara sa tradisyunal na manggagawa. Hindi lamang ito limitado sa BPO—pati mga trabahong manual, creative, at analytical ay unti-unti ring naaapektuhan.

Nagpapatupad na ang gobyerno ng mga training program upang sanayin ang mga manggagawa para sa mga industriyang hindi pa kayang palitan ng AI, tulad ng edukasyon at healthcare. Gayunpaman, may agam-agam kung magiging sapat ba ang mga hakbang na ito upang maiwasan ang malawakang pagkawala ng kabuhayan.

Patuloy na umaasa ang mga manggagawang Pilipino na mabibigyang-pansin ang hamon na dala ng teknolohiyang ito bago maging huli ang lahat.
