🍽️ School cafeterias are about more than just what’s on the menu. They’re places where students from different families, cultures, and traditions sit together and share part of their day.
For some families, familiar foods like bacon can be connected to comfort, family traditions, and everyday life. For others, religious beliefs, personal values, or dietary choices may shape what they’re comfortable eating.
At the end of the day, the goal is pretty simple: making sure students feel respected and included while still having choices that fit their own values. 🏫❤️
There probably isn’t one solution that works perfectly for everyone, which is why these conversations can be important.
💬 How do you think schools can best balance different traditions and food preferences in the cafeteria?
