Starting 31 August 2025, the process for applying for drone flight permits has officially moved from OpenSky App to the new UAS Portal App.

If you’re planning aerial filming, commercial drone operations, or even hobbyist flights, please ensure you are now using the UAS Portal for all permit requests. Staying compliant with CAAT and local authorities is crucial to avoid disruptions to your projects.

📌 This change affects all operators — from production companies to independent pilots.

When an international production company approached us to support their reality cooking series in Northern Thailand, we faced a unique creative and logistical challenge:
👉 Each episode required 3 distinct locations —
1️⃣ A remote jungle or rural setting where contestants would literally dig ingredients from the ground
2️⃣ A lively local market for shopping traditional Thai ingredients
3️⃣ A modern restaurant with traditional Thai design elements, spacious enough to fit 4 cooking stations side by side for the final cook-off.

✅ Scouted and secured the locations across Chiang Mai while balancing cinematic visual appeal with logistical feasibility
