The Royal Thai Army condemns the actions of the Cambodian by using weapons to attack civilian targets in the Thai border. Recently, we have found civilians been injured and killed by such actions.
We emphasize that Thailand is ready to protect our sovereignty and Thai people from such inhumane actions.
Regarding the clash in the Thai-Cambodian border areas, which resulted from the Cambodian soldiers opening fire on the Thai military base at Prasat Ta Muen Thom, Surin Province since this morning (24 July 2025), the Royal Thai Army has received an initial report from local government agencies that civilian areas have been targeted by Cambodian weapons, causing damage to people's homes. Including the following people who were injured and died:
1. PTT gas station in Ban Phue, Nong Ya Lat sub-district, Kantharalak district, Sisaket province, resulting in and .
2. Ban Chorok area in Dan sub-district, Kap Choeng district, Surin province, resulting in (1 was an 8-year-old boy) and , sent to Kap Choeng Hospital.
3. Ban K*t Chiang Mun, Ban Chan La, and Ban Phon Thong in Dom Pradit sub-district, Nam Yuen district, Ubon Ratchathani province, resulting in and
4. Ban Khi Lek in Ban Kruat sub-district, Ban Kruat district, Buriram province, resulting in damage to houses and agricultural livestock.
5. Village Number 16, Ban Kruat sub-district, Ban Kruat district, Buriram province, found person.
6. Ban Nong Raet area in Bak Dai sub-district, Phanom D**g Rak district, Surin province, resulting in damage to houses.
7. The area of Mr. Boonluam Thongwises' house, Village No. 9, Dom Pradit Subdistrict, resulted in damage to houses.
The Royal Thai Army condemns the violent actions against civilian targets by Cambodia and is ready to take military action to protect the sovereignty and the people from such inhumane actions to the utmost.
