About 80% of the roads are paved, but the rest are dirt tracks. There are no sidewalks, and you’ll often see locals, tourists, animals, and even open drainage ditches all sharing the same space.

Whether you’re walking or renting a scooter, be super cautious. Many travelers ride bikes here without much experience, and risky driving habits are pretty common. Accidents happen more often than you’d expect, and the injuries—and costs—can be major. Hospital bills and damage fees add up fast.
