ทบ.แจงเหตุทหารไทยเหยียบทุ่นระเบิดพื้นที่ปราสาทตาควาย จ.สุรินทร์ ยืนยันฝ่ายกัมพูชาลอบวางอย่างจงใจ ถือเป็นการละเมิดข้อตกลงหยุดยิงและอนุสัญญาออตตาวาอย่างต่อเนื่อง
พลตรี วินธัย สุวารี โฆษกกองทัพบก กล่าวถึงเหตุการณ์เมื่อวันนี้ (27 สิงหาคม 2568) กรณีเกิดเหตุ
พลทหาร อดิศร ป้อมกลาง สังกัดกองพันทหารราบที่ 1 กรมทหารราบที่ 23 ได้เหยียบทุ่นระเบิดสังหารบุคคลที่ฝ่ายกัมพูชาลอบวางไว้ ขณะปฏิบัติหน้าที่ในพื้นที่บริเวณปราสาทตาควาย ต.บักได อ.พนมดงรัก จ.สุรินทร์ ซึ่งอยู่ในเขตแดนของไทย จนได้รับบาดเจ็บขาขวาท่อนล่างขาด
นับเป็นเหตุการณ์รวมครั้งที่ 6 และเป็นเหตุการณ์ครั้งที่ 3 ที่เกิดขึ้นหลังจากฝ่ายไทยและกัมพูชาได้มีข้อตกลงหยุดยิงร่วมกัน จึงชัดเจนว่าฝ่ายกัมพูชายังคงละเมิดข้อตกลงหยุดยิงอยู่ตลอด รวมถึงการไม่ปฏิบัติตามพันธกรณีในอนุสัญญาออตตาวา ซึ่งห้ามใช้ทุ่นระเบิดสังหารบุคคลทุกชนิด จึงนับเป็นการลอบโจมตีเป้าหมายกำลังพลฝ่ายไทยที่เป็นไปอย่างจงใจและมีเจตนาที่ไม่บริสุทธิ์
เหตุการณ์ในลักษณะเช่นนี้ได้เกิดขึ้นหลายครั้งในพื้นที่ชายแดน สะท้อนถึงเจตนาร้ายและพฤติกรรมต่อเนื่องของฝ่ายกัมพูชาในการคุกคามฝ่ายไทย และละเมิดบูรณภาพแห่งดินแดนไทย สวนทางกับข้อตกลงหยุดยิงระหว่างประเทศในการประชุม GBC ที่ผ่านมา จึงเป็นเครื่องยืนยันได้ว่าการใช้อาวุธโดยฝั่งกัมพูชายังคงมีความพยายามอยู่ตลอดในช่วงหลังจากมีข้อตกลงหยุดยิง
จึงเชื่อได้ว่าเรื่องทุ่นระเบิดนี้น่าจะมีการวางแผนใช้กันมาอย่างเป็นระบบตลอดพื้นที่แนวชายแดน เพื่อเจตนานำมาใช้คุกคามทำร้ายฝ่ายไทย โดยเฉพาะจุดเกิดเหตุอยู่ในเขตพื้นที่ภายในเส้นปฏิบัติการฝั่งไทย
ยอมรับว่าพฤติกรรมและการกระทำลักษณะเช่นนี้เป็นอุปสรรคอย่างยิ่งต่อการดำเนินการคลี่คลายสถานการณ์ความตึงเครียดที่ทั้งสองฝ่ายกำลังดำเนินการอยู่ ผ่านกลไกทวิภาคีของทั้งสองประเทศในช่วงนี้........................................

The Royal Thai Army Clarifies Incident of Thai Soldier Stepping on Landmine in Ta Kwai Temple Area, Surin Province, Confirms Cambodian Side Deliberately Planted Explosives, Constituting Continuous Violation of Ceasefire Agreement and Ottawa Convention
Major General Winthai Suvaree, Army spokesperson, addressed today's incident (27 August 2025) where Private Adisorn Pomklang, from the 1st Infantry Battalion, 23rd Infantry Brigade, stepped on a landmine that was intentionally placed by the Cambodian side while he was working in Ta Kwai Temple area, Bakdai Subdistrict, Phanom D**g Rak District, Surin Province, and he sustained injuries resulting in the amputation of his right lower leg.
This marks the 6th incident overall and the 3rd occurrence following the ceasefire agreement between Thailand and Cambodia, clearly demonstrating Cambodia's continued violation of the ceasefire agreement and failure to comply with obligations under the Ottawa Convention, which prohibits the use of all types of anti-personnel landmines. This constitutes a deliberate covert attack against Thai personnel with malicious intent.
These incidents keep happening in border areas, showing that Cambodia is intentionally threatening Thailand and breaking the ceasefire agreement made in earlier meetings between the two countries. This confirms Cambodia's attempts to employ weapons throughout the period following the ceasefire agreement.
It is believed that these landmines have been systematically planned and deployed along the entire border area with the deliberate intention of threatening and harming the Thai side, particularly as the incident location is within Thai operational territory.
It is acknowledged that such behavior and actions constitute significant obstacles to ongoing efforts by both sides to de-escalate tensions through bilateral mechanisms between the two countries during this period...........................................................................
