The Healing Power of Love… in the Shape of a Teddy Bear
When this fragile foal lost his mother, his world turned silent and lonely. In those early days of life, when comfort usually comes from a mother’s warmth and gentle nuzzles, he had no one—just an empty stall and the echo of absence.
But love comes in many forms. And in this case, it came with button eyes and a soft, furry belly.
Caretakers at the stable gently placed a giant teddy bear into the foal’s stall, hoping it might offer some comfort. What happened next was nothing short of heart-melting. The foal not only approached the bear curiously but soon began nuzzling it, curling up beside it, and finally falling asleep wrapped in its plush arms — as if the bear were the mother he lost.
This wasn’t just about sleep; it was about emotional survival. Baby animals, much like humans, can grieve deeply. This teddy bear became more than a toy — it became a source of safety, security, and something to lean on when the world felt cold.
In a time of great sorrow, a simple gesture of kindness gave this little one the courage to rest, to trust, and to begin healing.
Isn’t it incredible how even the smallest acts of comfort can make the biggest difference?

I was in the house with my baby, watching through the window as my 5-year-old waited for the bus. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a black, wolfish-looking dog appeared at the bus stop.
Without thinking, I threw on my boots and sprinted down the street, calling for the dog to come to me. She looked intimidating—thin, scruffy, and a little wild—but as she got closer and her tail started wagging, I realized she wasn’t harmful, just desperate.
She was starving and thirsty, with no collar or tags. I called the pound to report that I had found her and agreed to hold onto her until an owner came forward.
The next day, someone reported her missing. In our tight-knit neighborhood, dogs don’t usually go missing, so I had my concerns. When I arrived at the owner’s house, she was outside—and to my surprise, she barely reacted to seeing her lost dog.
I asked about Mocha’s well-being, and the woman brushed it off, saying she was a "pain" and always ran away. Then, with zero emotion, she admitted they hated the dog.
I didn’t say another word. I turned around, walked away, and Mocha followed me home.
That was 10 years ago. She has never once tried to run away from us. She loves us, and we love her. She’s about 13 now, and our vet says she’s got many good years left.
We didn’t plan to adopt her—but in the end, she rescued us just as much as we rescued her...

She was named Phillis, because that was the name of the ship that took her away, and Wheatley, after the merchant who bought her. She was born in Senegal. In Boston, slave traders put her up for sale:
"She is seven years old! She will make a good mare!"
She was groped, n@ked, by many hands.
At thirteen, she was already writing poetry in a language that was not her own. No one believed that she was the author. At twenty, Phillis was questioned by a tribunal of eighteen distinguished gentlemen in robes and wigs.
She had to recite texts from Virgil and Milton and some passages from the Bible, and she also had to swear that the poems she had written were not plagiarized. Sitting on a chair, she endured her long examination, until the tribunal accepted her: she was a woman, she was black, she was a slave, but she was a poet.
Phillis Wheatley was the first African-American writer to publish a book in the United States.

During a soccer match, the team of the well-known Peruvian club Alianza Lima entered the Alejandro Villanueva Stadium – but not alone:
Each player was carrying a dog in their arms that was looking for a home.
With this gesture, they not only wanted to raise awareness of the plight of these animals, but also actively help find loving homes for them.
And indeed: For many dogs, it was the first step into a new life.
A wonderful event that shows:
True greatness is not only evident on the field, but also in the heart.
Adoption is often the most beautiful way for a dog to become part of our lives.

I had adopted her, but she refused to come with me. It was strange, because most dogs can’t wait to leave the kennel. She was crying and dragging her paws. I could have pulled her along… but when I looked down, I finally understood why. And in that moment, I had to make a choice.
When the time came to take her home, she was just stepping out of that cage. A whole new world, full of love and hope, was waiting for her. Any other dog would have run straight into the arms of their rescuer. But not her.
She stood frozen, paws firm on the ground, refusing to move. In the corner of the cage, a small Chihuahua named Taco looked up at her, terrified. She knew she was about to lose her best friend. 💔
And then… a small miracle happened. The couple who came to adopt her saw the whole scene. Without a second thought, they decided to adopt them both. They filled out the papers for the Chihuahua too, and all four walked out of the shelter together. 🐶🐶
Before they left, the dogs were lifted into the car, side by side, just as they were meant to be. I want to wish these two sweet souls a life full of love, peace, and joy. And above all, endless happiness to the wonderful people who gave them both a second chance. ❤️

Most people know the tragic story of the Titanic, but few have heard of Jenny, the cat who lived on board and was perhaps the only one who sensed what was coming.
Jenny was no ordinary cat. She was the Titanic’s official rat hunter, brought aboard to control the rodent population. During the ship’s sea trials, she gave birth to a litter of kittens and was lovingly cared for by a workman named Jim Mulholland.
Jim prepared a cozy nest for her and her babies near the galley, warmed by the boiler. He even shared scraps of food with her during breaks. The quiet routine gave her a sense of calm amid the chaos of preparing the most luxurious ship in history for its maiden voyage.
But something strange happened.
A few days before the Titanic set sail from Southampton for New York, Jenny’s behavior changed. She began to get restless. Then—without warning—she began picking up her kittens one by one, gently grabbing them by the neck… and leading them out of the boat.
She walked them down the ladder over and over again, until all the kittens were safely on dry land.
Jim stared. And in that moment, something became clear.
“This cat knows something… something we don’t.”
Trusting his intuition—or perhaps the woman’s intuition—Jim packed up his things and quietly stepped off the boat. He never returned to the ship.
The Titanic sailed without him.
We all know what happened next.
Years later, Jim, now an old man, told the story to a journalist. He credited Jenny with saving his life. His instinct—old, silent, and unwavering—may have been the only real warning anyone ever received.
Sometimes heroes don’t wear uniforms.
Sometimes they have fur, whiskers, and a knowing heart.

Everyone wants the picture — no one sees the pain.
"Saw this old lion — scarred, weary, and limping — surrounded by cameras and tourists. And it hit me:
How often do we turn suffering into a spectacle?"
He’s no longer the fierce king of the savannah, just another photo opportunity.
No one wonders how many battles he’s survived, how much each step aches, or what stories hide behind those tired, distant eyes staring at the ground.
Sometimes, nature doesn’t need our admiration or our flashbulbs. It just needs our quiet respect.

- Did you know that honey contains a substance that helps the human brain work better?
- Did you know that honey is the ONLY food on earth that can sustain human life alone?
- Did you know that a teaspoon of honey is enough to sustain human life for 24 hours?
- Did you know that propolis produced by bees is the most powerful natural antibiotic?
-Did you know that honey has no expiration date?
- Did you know that to gain 1 kg. treasure, do you need the nectar of more than 1,000,000 flowers?
- Did you know that there is a special wooden spoon for honey, and not a metal one?
-Did you know that bee grazing is the healthiest food in the world?
- Did you know that pollen can have over 1500 colours and shades?
- Did you know that the bodies of the world's great emperors were buried in coffins of gold and then covered with honey to avoid rotting?
- Did you know that bees are the ONLY insects that produce food for humans?
- Did you know that the mother (queen) puts twice her weight in eggs in one day?
- Did you know that bees flap their wings more than 11,000 times per minute?
- Did you know that the only honey that can be enjoyed by people allergic to beekeeping products is manuka honey.
-Did you know that Manuka honey is the best honey for women?
- Did you know that acacia honey is not sweetened?
Did you know that?
A bee lives less than 40 days, visits at least 1000 flowers and produces less than a teaspoon of honey, but for her it is a lifetime!

19/05/2025

“When pregnant, the cells of the baby migrate into the mothers bloodstream and then circle back into the baby, it’s called “fetal-maternal microchimerism”.
For 41 weeks, the cells circulate and merge backwards and forwards, and after the baby is born, many of these cells stay in the mother’s body, leaving a permanent imprint in the mothers tissues, bones, brain, and skin, and often stay there for decades. Every single child a mother has afterwards will leave a similar imprint on her body, too.
Even if a pregnancy doesn't go to full term or if you have an abortion, these cells still migrate into your bloodstream.
Research has shown that if a mother's heart is injured, fetal cells will rush to the site of the injury and change into different types of cells that specialize in mending the heart.
The baby helps repair the mother, while the mother builds the baby.
How cool is that?
This is often why certain illnesses vanish while pregnant.
It’s incredible how mothers bodies protect the baby at all costs, and the baby protects & rebuilds the mother back - so that the baby can develop safely and survive.
Think about crazy cravings for a moment. What was the mother deficient in that the baby made them crave?
Studies have also shown cells from a fetus in a mothers brain 18 years after she gave birth. How amazing is that?”
If you’re a mom you know how you can intuitively feel your child even when they are not there….Well, now there is scientific proof that moms carry them for years and years even after they have given birth to them.
I find this to be so very beautiful.
