The Liberia 🇱🇷 Amputee National Team Budget increases from $5000 to $25,000 in the National 1.2 Billion Draft Budget 2026. They even deserve more than that.

They’ve done too much and deserve to be celebrated for their efforts. They’re one of the group of people who struggles a lot when it comes to receiving support. Over the period, in the last 2-3 years, they’ve proven to be one of the best National teams ever. Mustering the courage to make bigger history at every event they’ve participated in recently.

The Amputee- team will be participating in the 2026 World Cup. They will be participating in World Cup for the second time in row. After their victory over Amputee AFCON- host Egypt 🇪🇬, they automatically booked a 2026 World Cup spot along with 6 African Countries. In the tournament, they finished as the best 6-performing team out of 24 teams.

In 2021, they lost to Ghana in the Amputee African Cup of Nations FINAL.

In the 2022 World Cup, they finished as the best 17 team out of 24 countries after beating Spain 🇪🇸, Ireland 🇮🇪, and France 🇫🇷.

Litmanen scored 6 goals in the Champions League, 17 in the Eredivisie, and 26 across all competitions. While I understand the sentimental attachment Liberians have to this discussion, the 1995 Ballon d'Or decision remains as controversial as the 2010, 2021, and 2023 awards won by Messi, and the 2024 award won by Rodri. It was, in my view, nothing short of a robbery.”
