Here is an account of the ORONMIYAN argument and the involvement of the Ogiamien royal families of Benin kingdom from our brother Osahz Lawried Idahosa .
I will suggest, just as he also suggested for personal research .

These are the ogiamien family when the last ogiso was no more and his only heir (Ekaladeran)to the throne was exiled (when he was supposed to be kpaid but was let go because it would be unjust). The throne was vacant people were fighting to rule

Evian who was a powerful warrior was choosen to be the administrator of igodomigodo, he was not a relation to the ogisos or had a Royal blood but he was a warrior and a very respected man

He became power drunk and wanted his son Ogiamien to take after him when he dies and the igodomigodo people rejected this so they went in search for their prince so that he can come take his rightful place in the kingdom.

When they got to uhe/Ife where Ekaladeran/oduduwa was now a king, he told them he can't come back because he already found home outside home but he would send his son (Oranmiyan)to go in his stead.

Oranmiyan had it difficult because the ogiamien made life unbearable for him but with the backing of the Benin people and because of the harsh rule of ogiamien he was victorious.

Till today the ogiamien family still claim they are the rightful king of Benin and if you notice nobody pay them attention. In the olden days their excuse was that Oranmiyan was not a pure blood but a mixed but more now they come up with anything and everything.

The question is if ogiamien was a king the whole Benin or half of Benin would be fighting his right or if Oranmiyan was to conquer Benin then his descendants would not have gotten such support and love they are having.

In a nutshell ogiamien were never from the family of any ogiso nor were they royals, Evian who happens to be the father of ogiamien was placed as a caretaker over the land because of his military might.
That's why ogisos metamorphed to Oba when Eweka was born "Omo n'oba" the child that have brought light.... referring to the dark tyranny of Ogiamien forceful rule.

The father of 4 and a wife was said to be a very strict Lecturer but he cajoled a 200 level Ibira girl to his hotel room where they had sE###xx. It wa said that the Lecturer took some energy boosting knocking enhancer and during the second round, he kpaid.

The girl is in police net and investigation is still on going.

HOW THE H@TRED AND BIGOTRY OF GEN. SANI ABACHA DESTROYED THE DREAMS OF DR EZEKIEL IZUOGU OF BECOMING A MAJOR CAR PRODUCER AND THE FIRST IN AFRICA.

Dr. Ezekiel Izuogu was a Nigerian inventor, an engineer, and politician, renowned for designing and building the first indigenous Nigerian car, the Izuogu Z-600. He was a former lecturer at the Federal Polytechnic Nekede and also a prominent politician, having been a gubernatorial candidate in Imo State.

Early Life and Education:
Dr. Izuogu was an indigene of Akokwa in Ideato North Local Government Area, Imo State.
He was an Electrical Engineer and a researcher who spent his youthful years on research and development in the area of Emagneto-dynamics.
He was a lecturer at the Federal Polytechnic Nekede.

The Izuogu Z-600:
In 1997, Dr. Izuogu unveiled the Izuogu Z-600, which was celebrated as the first indigenous Nigerian car and the first automobile of indigenous all-African technology.

The BBC described the Z-600 as the "African dream machine".

Dr. Izuogu was a prominent politician, having contested for governorship in Imo State under the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and later the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP).

In 2006, armed men broke into his factory and stole his tools and design book, causing a major setback for the Z-600 project. An act many believed was state sponsored att@ck to prevent an IGBO man from achieving such feat.
He reportedly regretted the loss of over N1 billion in monetary terms, as well as the time and energy invested in designing and producing the molds.

His Legacy:
Despite the challenges, Dr. Izuogu's legacy as the inventor of the first indigenous Nigerian car and a pioneer in African automotive technology remains significant.
His work is seen as a testament to the potential for local innovation and manufacturing in Africa.
He is remembered as a brilliant scientist and inventor whose dream was unfortunately hampered by circumstances.

Conclusion: If only the Nigerian government frees itself from sectionalism and 8 towards a particular section of the country and if only Government will stop being lackadaisical and encourage local production that will boost the Nigerian economy, things may not go well for us all.
