New Standard for global responsibility in textiles: GRTS.

Global Standard announces the launch of the public consultation period for its new voluntary sustainability standard: the Global Responsible Textile Standard (GRTS). The non-profit organisation behind the internationally recognised Global Organic Textile Standard - GOTS (GOTS), designed GRTS with core principles and same trusted process in GOTS.

The public consultation period opened July 14th, 2025, inviting input from companies, NGOs, consumers, and certification bodies to ensure the new standard reflects real-world needs and expectations. It will close 15th August 2025.

GRTS aims to extend the same principles of health, ecology, fairness, and care to a broader range of fibres.

Tekstillerde küresel sorumluluk için yeni Standart: GRTS.

Global Standard, yeni gönüllü sürdürülebilirlik standardı olan Küresel Sorumlu Tekstil Standardı (GRTS) için kamuoyu istişare sürecinin başlatıldığını duyurdu. Uluslararası geçerliliğe sahip Global Organic Textile Standard - GOTS (GOTS) ardındaki kâr amacı gütmeyen kuruluş, GRTS’yi GOTS’daki temel ilkeler ve aynı güvenilir süreç doğrultusunda tasarladı.

Yeni standardın gerçek dünyanın ihtiyaç ve beklentilerini yansıttığından emin olmak için şirketler, STK’lar, tüketiciler ve sertifikasyon kuruluşlarını katkı sağlamaya davet eden kamu istişare dönemi 14 Temmuz 2025’te başladı. 15 Ağustos 2025 tarihine kadar süreç devam edecek.

GRTS, aynı sağlık, ekoloji, adalet ve özen ilkelerini daha geniş bir elyaf yelpazesine yaymayı amaçlıyor.

Apparel manufacturers demand urgent update on EU-Türkiye Customs Union.

Speaking at the ‘Transformation Journey of the Turkish Apparel Industry’ conference, senior executives from across the value chain outlined how Türkiye needs to capitalize on its close sourcing advantages while simultaneously accelerating its digital and green transition to remain competitive against emerging supply points.

At the conference, hosted by the Istanbul Apparel Exporters’ Association (İHKİB), one of the current agenda items was the demands for updating the EU-Türkiye Customs Union, which has been in force since 1995.

‘Türk Giyim Endüstrisinin Dönüşüm Yolculuğu’ konferansında konuşan değer zincirindeki üst düzey yöneticiler, Türkiye’nin yakın kaynak avantajlarından nasıl yararlanması gerektiğini özetlerken, aynı zamanda, ortaya çıkan tedarik noktalarına karşı rekabet gücünü korumak için eş zamanlı dijital ve yeşil geçişini hızlandırması gerektiğini belirttiler.

Autoconer X6 and Preci FX; the power couple for high process efficiency.

To accelerate their weaving and finishing processes, Arthanari Loom Centre Textile Pvt Ltd (ALC) decided to invest in its own ring spinning and winding unit.

Instead of buying 12 tons of yarn per day, ALC will integrate the yarn production into their facilities with ring spinning machines and ten Rieter Autoconer X6 with Preci FX, a software-controlled yarn traversing system.

Arthanari Loom Centre Textile Pvt Ltd (ALC) dokuma ve terbiye süreçlerini hızlandırmak için kendi ring iplik eğirme ve sarma ünitesine yatırım yapmaya karar verdi.

ALC, günde 12 ton iplik satın almak yerine, iplik üretimini ring iplik makineleri ve yazılım kontrollü bir iplik hareket sistemi olan Preci FX teknolojisine sahip on adet Rieter Autoconer X6 ile tesislerine entegre edecek.
