We mourn the passing of Begum Khaleda Zia, former Prime Minister of Bangladesh, who passed away today.

She will be remembered as a defining figure in Bangladesh’s political history and for her stance on the Rohingya.

“Only condemnation and sympathy are not enough. Effective steps should be taken so that Rohingyas can return to their homeland safely.”
