Hamilton rejects his contract with the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 team!

The details are a little hazy, but here’s what we know:

• the deal was rejected because Hamilton wanted a 4 year contract whereas Mercedes is currently ready to offer only 2 years.

• Hamilton has allegedly asked for a raise from his current salary of a whopping £40M

On the off-chance that Mercedes and Lewis can’t work out a deal, LH44 might not have a seat for 2021.

Since the entire grid is already locked, Mercedes might either recruit a driver that’s not on the grid this year or they might pull George Russell out of the Williams and into the Mercedes.

All this is just speculations though, for more updates on this, stay tuned!
