If your partner says they’re out there with their friends, who are you to say that it’s a lie? That’s why cheaters love maintaining friendships with someone who will cover their lies to protect them in the event that you’d ask the friend to verify their whereabouts.
2. Don’t Take Pics of Themselves Together
If a cheater is smart enough, then they’d know not to run the risk of getting caught with pics of them with their lover.
3. Accuse Faithful Partner of Being Paranoid
Many defensive cheaters will attempt to get their partner to back off by accusing them of acting paranoid. This is a knee-jerk reaction to get you to stop snooping and get you to work against yourself.

Another common defensive tactic of a cheater is to accuse the innocent faithful spouse of cheating! Unbelievable, right? But this manipulative trick can take the heat off of them with reverse psychology.

If you have access to your spouse’s phone, then you could check their GPS location history and then match up to the story of their whereabouts with where they actually went. However, if your spouse is privy to it, then they can simply regularly delete the history.

As you’ll see, work excuses allow for one of the easiest ways unfaithful partners get away with cheating. A job that keeps a cheater out late gives them the perfect alibi to break out of the pattern without suspicion.
7. Secret Social Media Accounts and Photos with Their Lover
A fictitious name used to sign up for a social media account makes it really easy for an unfaithful spouse to communicate via instant messages. Knowing all the emails attached to their name can help you find their secret social media accounts and photos taken with their lover.
8. Delete and Re-upload Dating Apps
For the unfaithful partner who looks to hook up, dating apps are often the tool of choice. But to avoid suspicion, it’s easier to eliminate the dating app from their phones, and then re-upload it when they want to use it.
9. Don’t Take Showers Right Before Coming Home
One of the biggest signs of a cheating partner is when they arrive home from work clean and showered instead of dirty, like they should. Did they start taking showers at works? A savvy cheater will avoid coming home clean after work.
