Video game audiences are increasingly vast and diverse. More people are playing games without identifying themselves as gamers. Gaming is more accessible now to people living with uncommon or rare conditions.
While we’re celebrating the increased accessibility in games, we’re well aware that it’s not in a perfect state. It’s our responsibility to bring more features into our games, which would fortify accessibility for more people. This is one of the improvement areas for the LostCTRL team. We’re studying, researching, and working on this. We’re trying to change our assumptions of “play” and “player” while designing and making games.
We want to enable gaming for all, fight against social isolation, and include everyone in PLAY. It’s our main quest and would be our biggest achievement when completed.
