The Worldwide Peace Marker Project collective continues to provide the world with hope that a Culture of World Peace is possible and Turkey is one of its shining examples that a Culture of Peace is emerging. Happy Anniversary of Peace Marker Turkey 🇹🇷 and our Culture of Peace Ambassador to Turkey, Ms. Nurcan Turkoglu! It was 14 years ago we celebrated the placement of Peace Marker Turkey in Ozgurluk Parki (Freedom Park) in Instanbul. Thank you to our amazing ambassador, Nurcan, for joining us and representing her nation and the 75 million people of Turkey in the reality of creating a Culture of World Peace along with 31 other Ambassadors representing as many nations.
Even though the project has been quiet, it has done so so that the noise of war moves through long enough for us to see the true need of a Culture of World Peace. Once that is seen, it is then when your contribution to the project and that of the other Ambassadors will finally get to see the light of day. Thank you for sharing with the world the spirit behind being the Culture of Peace Ambassador to Turkey. We are honored to have your participation and Tiitè and I are humbled by your dedication and example! Thank you Nurcan Turkoglu and thank you dear friends in Turkey! The Worldwide Peace Marker Project collective Ambassador to Argentina 🇦🇷, Ana Borzone, is currently working a month long residency at our Studio 5775! We are so excited to have her here and can’t wait to see all of the beautiful works she creates while she is here. Here’s just a little preview of her working in the shop part of the studio with Maestro. Stay tuned.

Today marks the 13th anniversary of Culture of Peace Ambassador, Nurcan Türkoglu and Peace Marker Turkey 🇹🇷. We would like to send a big thank you to Burcu Semizoglu of Freedom Park where Peace Marker Turkey has its home and has been cared for for so many years. Tiitè and I are so happy and grateful to see Culture of Peace Turkey growing stronger with every year passing. Just when we begin to entertain thoughts that there is no hope for humanity, we wake up to this and the promise of a Culture of World Peace is in full bloom in Turkey. May these blossoms not only honor the lives lost to the innocence of hatred but, also honor for all of humanity the reality that hope comes in the form of and is shaped by a “Culture of Peace”. Thank you, Nurcan Türkoglu and the 73 million people of Turkey, this is a spectacular sight at a time when the people of our big beautiful world need it. Happy 12th Anniversary to our Beautiful Ambassador to Turkey 🇹🇷, Ms. Nurcan Türkoğlu and Peace Marker Turkey!!! What a joyous day it is. On this day 12 years ago our Ambassador, Nurcan, launched Peace Marker Turkey in Freedom Park in Istanbul and she and Culture of Peace Turkey are still going strong. Pictured here are some photos from the inaugural celebration 12 years ago and today. This year Nurcan is pictured with Burku Senemoglu, who is the Architectural Engineer at Freedom Park! Prayers for Egypt.
Tiité and I are sending out love and saying prayers for all involved, for the People of Egypt, and for our World.

Violence knows no boundaries and hate is its fuel, both are a product of ignorance. Human culture is a big part of it and what has been passed down from generation to generation is incomplete. There is a lot more to be said to one another, however, and it does not have to involve violence.

LIFE is the answer. When humanity can see itself in the sky, trees, the food that propels us forward every day, the grass that we enjoy walking on, our next-door neighbor, the sun that shines on us, and the oceans that we love to visit, to name a few... Then we will realize what LIFE is and how to value it. We are one.

The Worldwide Peace Marker Project collective is a model of a Culture of Peace with Ambassadors from over 198 Nations, of which over 30 are already in place that will help change this ignorance. All of LIFE on Planet Earth deserves this respect. Earth is our one and only home for all.
