I was at a bus stop this morning when I saw one young man trying to enter a bus.

Everything looked normal at first.

He entered, paid his fare, and found a seat.

Simple.

But just as the bus was about to move, the conductor suddenly shouted:

"Your money is not complete!"

The young man immediately replied:

"How? I paid everything!"

And just like that... the meeting started

Within seconds, both of them were explaining their side of the story with full confidence.

People nearby started gathering.

One woman even collected the money and started counting it like she had been appointed Chief Financial Officer of the bus stop

Another man was giving opinions nobody asked for.

Meanwhile, traffic was building up because everybody had paused their own business to monitor this important national matter

The funniest part?

Half of the people arguing didn't even know how the issue started.

They just joined because there was an argument available

In the end, it turned out to be a small misunderstanding involving change.

Case closed.

But the way the crowd reacted, you would think they had just witnessed a court session, election debate, and family meeting all at once

I was walking along the street with my daughter resting peacefully on my chest ❤️

Everything was calm until we passed a man standing by the roadside.

He smiled and waved in our direction.

I didn't think much of it and kept walking.

A few moments later, he came a little closer and smiled directly at my daughter.

Omo... immediately she saw him properly

She grabbed me tightly and buried her face into my shoulder like she had just received an emergency alert

I tried to reassure her, but she wasn't interested in any explanations.

The tighter the man smiled, the tighter she held on

At that point, I was trying not to laugh.

My daughter had already made her decision...

And apparently, strangers were not part of today's plans 😂

Choma went to school this morning like every other morning.

She left home early because she did not want to miss her classes, especially her continuous assessments and preparations for her upcoming exams.

When she arrived at the school gate, she was stopped and told that her school fees were not fully paid.

She tried to explain that she really did not want to miss classes, but the school policy did not allow her to enter.

So she was sent back home.

Choma’s parents were people who always tried their best. They were not lazy, and they always worked hard in their own little way to support her education. But recently, things had become very difficult for them financially, and keeping up with school payments was no longer easy like before.

Choma quietly left the gate without arguing and walked slowly back.

She knew what missing classes meant, especially now that her exams were getting closer. The thought alone made her feel uncomfortable inside, but she had no choice.

She did not go home immediately. She sat somewhere quiet for a while, trying to understand what to do next and hoping something would change before it was too late.

After some time, she stood up and walked back home with heavy thoughts.

That day stayed with her because it showed her that sometimes, even when children are ready and willing, circumstances at home can stand in the way of their future.

And somehow, the situation left many people divided… between understanding her struggle and questioning how strict school rules should really be in moments like this.

I was dressing up in the morning preparing to leave for work when I suddenly noticed that my shoes felt strangely heavy

At first, I thought maybe my socks were deep inside the shoes.

Only for me to check properly and discover that my little boy had poured bottled water inside both shoes because he wanted to “wash them before church”

The funniest part was that this my boy was looking very proud of himself, expecting me to thank him for his hard work while I was busy looking for another pair of shoes 😂

My son using my pressing iron like a banker on duty carefully ironing my naira notes one by one like it was his full-time job.

Some were already neatly pressed and stacked on one side like “finished work.” Others were still under serious treatment.

My wife was standing there too… both of us just watching in silence, trying to understand how our child turned money into laundry.

I was in the sitting room watching a football match with my son, completely carried away by the game.

Not until halftime did I turn around… and I saw him on the floor, fully focused, turning my house into something I still can’t explain—flour everywhere like it appeared on its own.

And I still don’t know how it got that flour without me noticing.

Children can turn anything into playball… even things you never gave them.

I entered the compound yesterday and greeted everybody

Everything was moving normally until one old woman suddenly asked:
“Who are you greeting like that?

before I could explain myself properly, another elderly woman joined the matter immediately

Within seconds, full village meeting started because of ordinary greeting

One woman was saying my greeting sounded proud.
Another one said I greeted too fast.
One even claimed I did not bend well while greeting elders

Meanwhile, I was still standing there confused because in my mind, I greeted everybody correctly

People nearby had already stopped what they were doing just to watch the situation.

Some were laughing quietly.
Some were seriously analyzing my greeting like examination result

At one point, I even started doubting myself and wondering if greeting now requires special training

Honestly, village people can turn ordinary “good afternoon” into full traditional conference within two minutes

She went to the market to buy meat
Everything was going fine until she asked for price.

The seller gave price.
The woman tried to negotiate small.

That was when everything changed
The seller suddenly raised voice saying price has already increased since morning.

Other traders immediately joined the conversation like group discussion

Within seconds, crowd gathered and everybody started giving opinion on fruit price like national issue

The funniest part was that nobody even agreed on the real price again.

At the end, the woman just walked away quietly leaving everybody still discussing meat price like serious debate

But what actually made the seller react that strongly still didn’t make sense to many people around that day…

I mistakenly touched this woman tray of tomatoes and everything scattered on the floor

Omo… before I could even bend down to arrange the tomatoes back, the woman shouted so loud that people from another side of the market turned immediately

“Who do this?!”

That one shout alone changed the whole atmosphere instantly.

Within seconds, market women started appearing from different directions like they were summoned for emergency meeting

One woman was already counting tomatoes on the floor like accountant.

Another one started explaining the current price of tomatoes with full anger.

One even looked at me and sighed deeply like I had personally caused inflation in the market

Meanwhile, the tomatoes wey fall no even reach plenty like that

But the way everybody gathered around ehn…
You would think breaking news just happened inside market.

People passing by stopped completely to watch.

Some were smiling.
Some were shaking their head.
Some were waiting to hear my own side of the story

At one point, I just stood there speechless because anything I said would only add fuel to the situation

Honestly, market women can turn one small mistake into full public gathering within seconds

The children suddenly disappeared from the compound for almost one hour

Everybody thought they were playing football somewhere nearby.

Next thing, noise started coming from outside the gate like people celebrating carnival

As everybody came outside to check, we saw the children pushing one strange vehicle they built by themselves

Omo… these children used wheelbarrow tire, broken chair, cooking pot, wood and rope to build something they called “latest motor

The funniest part was that one small boy was inside pressing spoon like steering wheel while another one was shouting:
“Make way! Make way!”

Neighbors were already laughing before the vehicle suddenly bent sideways and nearly entered gutter

But the children still behaved like professional engineers presenting new invention to the public

Honestly, children can confidently create something from absolutely nothing
