Today, I am proud to announce my candidacy for Minnesota State Representative in House District 4A.

Years ago, I arrived in Moorhead as a new immigrant searching for opportunity and a place to call home. This community welcomed me. It’s where I found my first job, pursued my education, and launched my first business. Moorhead gave me a future, and now I am ready to give back.

In 2019, I founded Soma Employment Solutions to help others access the same opportunities that changed my life. Since then, we have connected hundreds of Minnesotans—especially youth, immigrants, and underserved communities—with meaningful employment and career pathways. In 2024, this work was recognized by the Moorhead City Council with the MoorHeart Award, a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we invest in people.

I am running for State Representative because I believe in public service that delivers real results. My priorities for District 4A include:

• Expanding workforce development and job training
• Increasing access to affordable housing and homeownership
• Improving mental health and healthcare services
• Supporting small businesses and rural entrepreneurship
• Closing the digital divide and ensuring educational equity

I understand the challenges that working families face because I have lived them. I will bring experience, integrity, and a deep commitment to our community to the State Capitol.

I believe in a future where everyone—no matter their background—has the chance to thrive. If you share that vision, I invite you to stand with me.

Together, we can build a stronger, more inclusive District 4A and create a better Minnesota for all.
