Hello everyone,
Altai is out now! ✨ We hope you enjoy listening. Altai is more than just a track—it’s a 23-minute experience, including the original version and three remixes. It’s the result of an exciting collective effort and a truly inspiring journey. Its roots trace back to the Altai Mountains, to a shamanic ritual in the Tuvan language from Southern Siberia. My deepest gratitude to Shu-De and all the people of Altai for preserving and passing on this tradition. I dedicate this piece to my Altai Turk namesake, our grandfather Karahan Dede, for everything he brought to my existence.
I performed the vocals we hear in the track; I played and recorded all the instruments and sounds live. Huge love and hugs to my dear brothers Aykut Bilir, Galactic Falcon, and YUZBASIOGLU for their contributions with the remix versions.
I am deeply grateful to my big brother, dear Kayhan Yanarlar (Majnoon), and Rist Records for their support in bringing the track to its final form and for their meticulous efforts before the release. This wouldn’t have been possible without you. Enjoy the journey! 🫶
