It’s a wonderful feeling to see Ommi (Mother) project we worked on with so much effort and heart nominated for Favourite Gulf Series at the Joy Awards 2025.

So happy to see our amazing cast and directors nominated as well:

And wishing all the best to Fayez Bin Jurays .jurays who was also part of Ommi (Mother) and is nominated this year for another project.

As the still photographer and backstage videographer of this project, I feel lucky to witness and capture moments from this beautiful journey. Congrats to everyone involved, and good luck to all nominees at the Joy Awards 2025.

Who would ever want to be the woman she played? No one. That’s what makes such roles so difficult, and that’s what makes Rana’s work so exceptional. She delivered every sudden shift, every fragile turn of emotion, with remarkable truth, and it was powerful to watch.

Behind the camera you made us laugh, in front of it you made us believe. Bravo Rana, with respect. It was a great pleasure meeting and working with you. Thank you for the unforgettable moments I had the chance to capture.

Happy International Cat Day🎉with the cats of Ommi 😻

She once said, “You’re like a pigeon, I never know when you come, you take your shot, and you’re gone.”
It was such an unusual compliment, one I’d never heard before, and perhaps the one I’ve liked most.

One of the most important scenes of the series Ommi… At that thrilling and risky moment, the showrunner and owner of Red Production, Cevdet Mercan , was inside the car with the camera crew. The moment was captured just as it happened. As all of us held our breath, they remained strikingly calm.
