Teardrop Collection by Zade Design is rooted in the dialogue between nature and craftsmanship — two forces that shape both creativity and perception.

Each piece is conceived as a unique object, defined by the meeting of different materials, textures, and artisanal gestures. The process emphasizes individuality, where no two outcomes are ever the same.
By revealing the inherent qualities of materials and the expressive potential of the human hand, the collection explores design as a balance between control and spontaneity, precision and intuition.

All pieces are produced as limited editions, reinforcing their singular identity and the value of craftsmanship as a cultural practice.

“Taş Değirmen” table lamp is a tabletop lighting design that brings together the production culture of the past with today’s technology. Taking its form from the circular movement of traditional stone mills, the product symbolizes continuity of production, the value of labor, and the flow of life.

Composed of two conical ceramic forms, this design carries a timeless character with its natural and handcrafted texture. The rotation around its own axis of the mill refers to the sustainable rhythm of life, while the LED light inside represents the illuminating power of production and labor in human life.

“Taş Değirmen” is not only a lighting product; it is a reinterpretation through light of a story that extends from the past to the present. Collaboration: Ceramic Artist :Onur Altun. Designer : Nadire Ertuğrul

“Taş Değirmen” masa lambası, geçmişin üretim kültürünü günümüz teknolojisiyle buluşturan bir masa üstü aydınlatma tasarımıdır. Formunu eski taş değirmenlerin döngüsel hareketinden alan ürün; üretimin sürekliliğini, emeğin değerini ve yaşamın akışını simgeler.

İki konik seramik formdan oluşan bu tasarım, doğal ve el yapımı dokusuyla zamansız bir karakter taşır. Değirmenin kendi eksenindeki döngüsü, yaşamın sürdürülebilir ritmine bir gönderme yaparken; içindeki LED ışık, üretimin ve emeğin insan hayatını aydınlatan gücünü temsil eder.

Metal zanaatkârlığı; ateş, çekiç ve sabırla yapılan, seri üretimden farklı olarak ustanın malzemeyi “dinleyerek” şekil verdiği iştir. Metal hata affetmez: soğukken kırılır, fazla ısıda zayıflar, acelede eğrilir; bu yüzden karakter ve disiplin ister.

Metal “canlı” bir malzemedir; usta onu adına göre değil davranışına göre seçer. Çelik/demir dayanıklıdır ve taşıyıcı işlerde öne çıkar; bakır kolay şekillenir ve patina ile güzelleşir; pirinç/bronz ağırbaşlı görünür, aksesuar ve detaylarda çok kullanılır; alüminyum hafif olsa da düzgün yüzey ve bağlantı için titizlik ister. Aynı form, farklı metalde bambaşka durur.

Bu ürünler, Home Art dergisinin “gazete kâğıdıyla tasarım” temalı projesi için özel olarak ortaya çıktı. Günlük hayatta hızlıca tüketip attığımız bir malzemenin, emek ve zaman verildiğinde tekrar değerli bir objeye dönüşebileceğini göstermek istedim. İç mimar olarak mekânda kullanılan her malzemenin bir hikâyesi olmasını önemsiyorum; bu kez de hikâyeyi en sıradan malzemelerden, gazeteden kurdum. dönüşüm
