Pujya Datta Swamij's message -
Veera Anjaneya Swami ki Jai! Pavana Suta Veera Hanuman ki Jai! Rama Lakshmana Janaki - Jai Bolo Hanuman ki!
So far, you heard some wonderful messages. These are all gems we need to collect in the box called Brain. It will come in useful during difficulties, when the mind is troubled. When you recall them during difficult times, you will recall this and feel at peace.
Grief and difficulties never end...they seem to end, but they come back. We have weeds in crops. For some strange reason, weeds grow faster. We use manure and work hard to raise good crops. But weeds need nothing. They tested per science to see if weeds are multiplying due to the manure and other sprays. But the weeds did not. They survive on the plants themselves.
After the crops grow, the weeds draw nutrition from the roots of the crops. Whether organic or chemical fertilisers, the weeds take from the roots of the crops.
Like that, unnecessary rubbish are the weeds in the mind. When those weeds are removed, sometimes, the crops of good thoughts are also gone with them. The gems we collect with a lot of effort are like the crops.
Say the Guru is singing while walking with a Tanpura in hand. The Guru does not seek alms, but people rushed to offer. In the old days, sages would sing beautifully with the small Tanpura and would sing the stories of great deities, the Ramayana, the Mahabharat, the future etc. They would sing about the future of that household. The householders would run after the sages to hear more. But the sages would refuse to enter the house. The sages would - without taking the names - talk about who is going to take birth, who is going to die, what accidents could happen etc. They would continue walking while predicting the future. That is only a caution from God. God is reminding us to be careful. Be careful with your Indriyas. Danger is around the corner, death can strike any moment - the caution says.
We are shocked that the person we spoke to yesterday is no longer alive today. Yama has no compassion. He is only focused on duty. We have evolved from our births like those micro organisms. We kill them and we again take birth as them.
Like I said yesterday, all chicken, lamb and cow will take their revenge, there is no escape. I mentioned that they will take birth as our relatives and family members, kith and kin and will subject us to suffering. They may take us to court, for example. Even the roaches you spray on to kill will come back to avenge your deed. There is no escape, this is Brahma’s rule.
Sometimes, we wonder what sins we committed for us to have this kind of suffering. You may not remember now, but you did something then with or without realizing what you were doing.
How do we get rid of all this? We took birth, ate, grew up. We came with 6 stages in the body starting from - childhood to adolescence to youth and so on until death. All those 6 stages have suffering. Guru keeps cautioning us.
The Vedanta that we have in Sanatana Dharma is found no where else. The Atma Tattva Jnana, the secrets of nature, the secrets of human birth, the descriptions of Atman, Buddhi, Indriyas are all there in all our Upanishads as well as Puranas. Puranas have stories exactly as they happen in our life. When we read some of those stories, they will feel very close to our life stories. Those are the ways God is cautioning us, but we don't take note.
Before an old house collapses, it gives us signs. You might hear some creaking in the ceiling. You must take note and get out of the house. The cracking becomes silent for about an hour before the house collapses.
God gives us time to escape, and we need to use that time.
An old house warns before it is about to collapse. The body too warns us before it is about to die. Yet, we keep running after doctors. The bell has rung, you must be ready. Even at 99 years, you cannot cry for good health. I keep scolding those old people - why hanker for good health. Chant God's name, you will forget your suffering. You cannot become young again.
You must prepare for this time. After 60 years, we should get ready. We should not be afraid of death.
"I am afraid I will die", of course one has to die. "Who will paint this house?" "I wish to see my youngest granddaughter (who happens to be only 5 years old by the way) get married one day". Why desire so much?
Normally, after 60 years of life, one cycle is said to be complete. God still gives years to live after that.
After that old age, you cannot recognize anyone, nor hear clearly. Each Indriya keeps giving up, these are all cautions, yet we want to keep repairing the body. How much will we keep repairing? Why not give up everything and get everything new? All body parts are worn out and rusted.
Nowadays, all body parts are available in the market. Eyes, ears, nose, heart, lungs, kidneys - everything.
What is the use of living a little longer? How is another person or this society benefitting from you? What is happening due to you? You are only an expense, but there is nothing good coming out of it. The doctors are building mansions, but you and your body parts are withering away.
So, what should we do, should we just let it be, you may ask? Yes! We should live naturally and die a natural death. Now, we have AI. Now when we see the videos on Instagram, it is hard to say if the video is real or AI generated. Many are misusing this and giving away money to fake charities.
Someone may have a fake video of Swamiji instructing you send funds to a charity. Some devotees may be fooled by it. Do not do that. Only support directly. There are frauds and threats everywhere. People open bank accounts on our names. Many well educated people have fallen for scams and hacks. The more you rely on the phones, the more we lose.
Use the phone only as much as is needed. These losses too are a caution for us. God gives us everything.
About 40 hours before death, God gives everyone a signal. I will not tell you because you will all go and check your face in the mirror everyday.
WE should not even say, "I should die", or "I am done, I will die". Death will come anyway, why worry about it? Do not worry about what you cannot get easily - What is Atma Tattva, Who am I am? Why I am born as a girl (or boy) here, what is my duty? I am educated, but have no job, why? Am I useless, am I a burden on this house? Do I need to run away, do I need to beg for a job? What am I supposed to do?
Should I pick up trash and earn thousands like they are doing. Many are setting up hotels, many are doing manual labor, should I do any of these? Should I work at an old-age home and make some money?
These educated people will never do any of these jobs. If you only want collector job, how can you get it at 40 years of age. You are educated, no doubt. You did not study to get Jnana, you only studied to get a job. When you study to gain knowledge, you will surely find a job that needs that knowledge.
You always only took courses that you think will land you a job. You must instead study to gain knowledge. If you don't get a job when you do this, you can talk to me. You are constantly calculating courses and the jobs they can fetch. Don't do that. It is enough to get a job that will meet your expenses.
You must stop thinking about the job and study well and acquire knowledge. You will find a job as soon as you graduate if you... Your words, your actions, your body language are depriving you of your job. When you go to the office, work humbly like a laborer, rather than go like you are the Chief there.
Many announce on loudly that they will uplift the society, but are nowhere to be seen after a few months. Their words, their body language and their publicity are big and bold, but within six months, they are nowhere.
Many come claiming they will uplift the country or make others leaders. They cannot become leaders themselves, but claim they will uplift others. I am speaking in this tone and manner so you understand fully.
Do not harbor excess desire for life. You must adapt and be appropriate to that moment. Excess desire leads to grief and disappointment. If you have the ability to withstand grief, then dream big. Many day dream that they will become President or some important person. After dreaming like this endlessly, the person goes mad.
Some people will wish for what they know is not possible. You look at others, or read about them, and wish for what they had. Their life is different from ours. Some argue "Why cannot I have what they have?" You must be you
One man was doing really great mimicry. Everyone in the kingdom applauded him. The king too rewarded him. The king asked him to speak like the king's guru and the man did. No AI could match him.
The king lauded him and said: You spoke like me, the King. You spoke like each being I asked you do - bird, mosquito, buffalo, people etc. How wonderful! I wish to hear your original voice" The man forgot his original voice. He struggled.
The king said “What is the use of all this mimicry if you cannot remember the voice that God gave you?”
We think all these skills will give us food. We need knowledge to withstand difficulties. Difficulties are inevitable even for the educated and the employed. We are forgetting our originality. God gave us some innate strength. Work on that and present that. You have innate courage and forbearance. Brahma sent each being filling us with everything we need. He put the entire world in each of us.
How wonderful that God soundproofed our body so we cannot hear the growling made by our stomach. Without that soundproofing, we would run away from this place hearing the loud sounds from the bellies around us.
God gave us intelligence too, to deal with hunger, thirst, desire, anger etc. Don't just say God gave you desire and anger. He also gave you the antidote for them. God is so intelligent. He gives what we need in a given moment.
Creation happened once, it will not keep happening again. Think about it. This is a self-propelling machine. Beings are unable to get out of this cycle. We keep taking births within this cycle, in various wombs, in various forms. There are countless beings, all of them created at the same time.
Therefore, you good devotees who follow the Guru should take note of the antidote. The more you adopt it, the more you get out of this cycle.
The grinding stone has two stones - one above and one below. There is a stick that is placed in the upper stone. There is a spindle in the middle that engages the two stones. Grains put in around the spindle get ground between the two stones. That turns into shapeless flour and goes into our body. The food we eat enters our blood stream.
Following your karma, you take birth as a human or chicken, or moth, or lizard or roach, and the cycle continues. God has put us back in the grinding stone. We are in the grinding stone now, we are getting powdered, we are losing our innate strength.
We cannot move our limbs, our indriyas do not work. The 90 year old does not have the energy that a 10 year old has. The body is falling off. You had so much love for your body, but you leave it behind .You are not taking it with you when you leave. Did anyone in Tenali take their body with them?
No one takes their body with them. You don't take your eyeglasses, your watch, your ring etc. Nothing.! The body has fallen off. Only the karma related to your being moves with you and takes another body. This is all we do. There is an antidote, find out what it is.
Great souls clamor "Listen to Bhagavatam, it will do you good. But you don't! Only 2-3 people present here will listen to Bhagavatam, the rest will not. Once, Shiva nad Parvati were traveling in the sky and looked down at earth. Parvati asked if everyone here will attain liberation."
If everyone that dipped in Kumba Mela get Moksa, can there be room in Shiva loka or Vishnu loka. Shiva said only 1-2 would get liberation. Parvati wanted to see who they would be. Shiva advises that they go in human form as an old couple. Parvati would cry for her old, dying husband requesting some one who is free from sin to pour some water in his mouth. Parvati did as planned. She also says that if a sinner were to pour water in his mouth, the old man would die immediately.
People in thousands passed by. Some wonder if they dipped fully in the river, if their head was fully submerged. Some think about their bus leaving, some think about their keys...some think about money...some think about their phone...these are all the thoughts while they bathed in Ganga.
Everyone had varying thoughts. No one came to help the old woman, no one thought about giving her some water. Parvati was worried it was getting dark, Shiva asked her to be patient.
Right then, a cruel and sinful thief came running to Ganga. His two arms were cut off as punishment. He was chanting Shiva's name. He was convinced his sins would be destroyed when he dipped in Ganga, and he would go to Shiva loka. Once one person becomes a thief, he would be blamed for all theft.
As he was going to the river, he noticed the old couple. Parvati said the husband would live if someone with conviction poured water in her husband's mouth.
The man went to the river, prayed wholeheartedly, sought forgiveness for this misdeeds and dipped repeatedly. He had no arms, nor did he find any container nearby. He washed his mouth and collected the water in his mouth and poured it in the old man's mouth.
The moment he did that, he gained a divine form and regained his hands. He went to Shiva loka in a divine plane. He had never helped anyone, but was now helping selflessly. When we dip in the Ganga, or when we go to some Kshetra, we should believe all our sins are gone. If you wonder whether they are gone, they will not go.
Even to dip three times, you struggle. Their head does not even get wet. You will not die that easily, with just three dips in a river. You are worried about dying? Okay die. You carefully touch the water with your fingertips to see if it's cold and get deterred by the coldness.
Your intellect is the fruit you offer to God. Your body is the leaf being offered to God. Tears of joy are the water you offer to God. You must not cry from grief, you must have tears of joy. Don't cry for death, it will come anyway. You blame God for lack of food, for lack of job etc. You must never blame God!
We are so fortunate that we have this Kshetra of the body. Using this, we should reach God. Using this Kshetra, we should know the Kshetrajna.n"aankh mere taras rahe..." - my eyes yearn to see you. My tongue yearns to chant your name, not to eat tamarind rice. My body is yearning to embrace you. You must have a Moorti at home and embrace it everyday. Your tongue must always keep chanting God's names.
Why keep moaning. Turn that into chanting. When you stand up chanting Datta's name instead of meaningless exclamations like Ayyo..Amma..Abba... Chant the name of Krishna, turn those moans into divine names.
When you put the infant in the cradle, speak sweetly as if you are speaking to God. Do not cry, do not say anything negative.
You must show love. You cry while feeding your son, "You still have no job, but you eat like a donkey". What will the boy eat? He may be your son, but you are feeding him what God gave you. Why so much grief and so much scolding? Finally, the parent laments that they just want to die. That is wrong. Even if you die, you will linger there as a ghost. You must not even think about death. No one comes to earth without a return ticket. So do not worry, be brave. Try to do as much good as possible.
Today we heard three speeches, they were wonderful.
The second speaker - Narayana Murthy - narrated the entire Sundarkanda. When I was a child, they would have stand on a platform and chant "Sri Anjaneyam Prasannanjaneyam". My sister in law would proudly show me off while having me chant.I was about 5 years old then.
When he chanted the Dandakam, I remembered my childhood. While chanting that Dandakam, the Trinidad Hanuman was consecrated. There were lakhs of people there. Generations ago, they had migrated to that country, and love Hanuman very much. Every household has Swamiji's photo.
They did a big celebration in the entire town. That is where Swamiji narrated even the Shatashloki Ramayan. All the children there chant the Shatashloki. They sing our Telugu bhajans so well. There are a few groups that sing bhajans. They play the instruments needed and sing.
We should develop interest. Every Sunday, come and do bhajans. All of you are here today. Sankranti wishes to all of you. Just as the sun moves today, let your problems move away too. The sun light burns away all impurities. May all your difficulties be burned by Surya deva.

Pujya BalaSwamiji speaks
Sri Gurubhyo Namaha.

At one time, before Swamiji blessed us with the mantra Om Namo Hanumate Namaha, Swamiji gave us the Navagraha mantra (Namo Suryaya Chandraya...) and instructed that we do this mantra for about a year until He tells us to stop. After that a lot of devotees did this mantra about 9 crore times. When doing Purnahuti, Swamiji said He gave the mantra for our Universal welfare, to protect people.
Swamiji had also given us the mantra "Om Ayim Hreem Shreem Shiva Rama Anagha Dattaya Namaha..." in Trinidad WI, for protection - this was around 1993. In 1995, Swamiji did a Janasamrakshana Yaga (for protection of people). Around that time, there was a prediction of big natural disaster. Being a small island it would be very hard to recover from something like that - loss of lives and property would be huge. After the Yaga, the disaster (hurricane) almost struck but diverted before it did.
Swamiji, when giving the Navagraha mantra instructed that we visualize the Navagraha Devatas while chanting the mantra. Remembering Sun God on this day is very important. Swamiji is usually on this side of the world (in Andhra) at this time of the year.
At yesterday concert, we all went to a divine Loka and came back. We wish to remain there. It is a Loka that is beyond all Lokas. It is a Loka - Nada loka - that contains all Lokas. There is no Loka without nāda.
The creation came from Nada, is in Nada. That is why our heart too beats rhythmically. The doctors also test for the rhythm and look at the pace of heart beat. Yoga has said there are 72 nadis. 72bpm is the average heart rate.
Sometimes, Swamiji does Nadi Shuddhi during a healing session. But Swamiji does not always need to do it. Swamiji looks through the crystal, that is enough. We don't always need to stick a thermometer in the mouth, there are infrared thermometers that can scan the temperature, just as the Guru does not need to touch you, He knows very easily.
Swamiji always remind us that we get medical checkups done regularly. Swamiji mentioned this in the Sadhu Sabha the other day as well. Many expected Swamiji to scold during the conference, but Swamiji spoke very calmly. No point in shouting and blasting, we need to advise delicately - this is Appaji's philosophy.
Swamiji instructed them all to stay healthy. Brahma instructs everyone, who will instruct Brahma? Narayam did - He gave chatush shloki Bhagavatam to Brahma. Swamiji too told the saints to take care of their health. Never neglect health. Despite a lot of ailments, there is some relief somewhere along the way, when we fall asleep, or for someone who has fractured his leg, there could be a certain angle where he can rest without pain.
There are also devotees in the healing session who almost left the planet, but came back by Appaji's grace by following His words. Health is wealth, health is very important - everyone says this, but always neglect their health. You can observe Appaji. Even when Appaji is not very busy, let's say in a foreign country, when there are no devotees at all, Appaji still works for atleast 8 hours.
In the year 2000, Swamiji visited Tonga, where the first sun rays of the day falls. Swamiji found out about this place. Most people said this was in New Zealand, they thought it was a mountain there. But Swamiji said Tonga was not there.
Then, devotees looked closely at maps. They searched and searched and found several tiny islands, some islands as big as just this village. Sheri Lipton from Hawaii, a devotee of Swamiji had built small huts for us on some of the islands. There was no electricity there.
So we went to New Zealand first. From there, we went to a small island by boat. From there another island. There was only this Owner who had bought those islands who was to ferry the entire group of may be 12 people to that island.
There is no electricity. Rain water was collected in a tank that was used for showers. I had the good fortune of being with Appaji and doing all Seva. There were no cell phones there This man was to given a list in the morning - to bring groceries and necessities for Appaji and everyone. He would leave at 7:30am everyday to fetch the items.
It was very hot, but very. beautiful there. There was nothing but the ocean, the island and a little path in between the trees. There were only about 12 of us. There, Swamiji would swim wonderfully. Swamiji once went swimming and did not return for a long time. There were some coral reefs there, no one had the courage to swim that far. The man on the island was not there. The water indeed was very clear, we could see the magnificent colors of the fish - such colors that could not be seen elsewhere.
Swamiji continued swimming, perhaps remembered his Matsya Avatara. There was a hill nearby, Swamiji swam around it and then came back. Swamiji was gone for 2.5 hours. In that heat on the island, Swamiji sat and began writing. Swamiji recollected Bhajans from Krishna Jaya and wrote them down. He did Japa for those in difficulties.
Even in such places where people relax and rest, Swamiji would work for atleast 8 hours. On festive days, you can imagine Swamiji works around the clock. I am saying all this because enthusiasm is a positive quality. You must never be disappointed. Nada builds enthusiasm in us.
If children are aggressive, or their minds are filled with unnecessary thoughts, they should go out and play in the sun. Then, they calm down. That is why in the old days, old people who could not move around anymore would sit and write Rama Nama thousands of times. We hear of neurological and other ailments such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s etc. By writing like this, it is said that it prevents such ailments, or helps when you have such ailments. That is why Swamiji spoke about taking care of one's health.
Sun salutations are very important. Getting regular tests is very important. Swamiji said many people do not get tested because they are afraid of what might be uncovered. Just because you don't test it, the ailment will not leave you. Ii is better to find out early and fix the issue. Appaji swims for an hour everyday. Swamiji says He is healthy due to this Jala Yoga. Everyday, we should do some sadhana, and exercise the body, mind and intellect so we have good health to serve our Guru.
Yesterday's healing session was very unique. It got so quiet in the beginning and at the end, during the Happy tune, it was like 2000 birds squawking suddenly in Shuka Vana. Swamiji gave us 400 ragas for healing. Get them and play them when you go to bed then you'll sleep better.
When you come to Mysuru, there is a theater - Nada Bhavana - where you can relax and listen to music . Make use of this during your visit. May we all always earn the grace of Appaji.

A lesson in Dispassion
Swamiji instructs that devotees chant the Telugu Hanuman Chalisa. Everyone print the Telugu Chalisa and every Sunday, all devotees around and near Tenali chant it. Do Annandana. One bowlful of prasadam is enough, no need for a weekly feast. There is also a shed next to Hanuman where Homas can be done.
All of you gather here since this is close by and it is a Kshetra. With devotion, wholeheartedly, we should serve in this Hanuman Ashrama. Right next to the temple we will have a 18ft Hanuman which is already present in the premises.
Shiva, Datta, Durga Parameshvari, Ganapati, Subramanya Swami - this is the Panchayatana that we will have here. Ram Parivar will be right in the Hanuman shrine. His kshetra was once roamed by Hanuman and by sages. Otherwise, why would this Kshetra take shape here!
The land and the stones and the humans there are all related. All of us are related to this place, that is why we are attaining this good fortune (Bhutki). In this human life, we are supporting construction of a temple, especally through the Guru we love. This is wonderful.
Just building a temple structure by raising funds is different. What we are doing is not that. In the past, in the kingdom of Hakka Bukka, many great temples were built. Bruhadeeshvara temple in Tamilnadu is so big. There are massive stones there; there were no cranes or engineering in those days, how did they build that temple. Nowdays, stones are cut with machines, but back in those days, they only used their hands.
They carved various histories on the walls of that temple. That is due to their loyalty to the king and their skill. What do the sculptors get, but a square meal a day. You must go see the Bruhadeeshvara temple in Tanjore, Tamilnadu.
If you go to Rameshvaram, see the area around the temple. The pillar and stones stick together due to the locking system, there was no cement. So many rains and floods and storms have occurred and the temple remains perfectly fine. Each pillar is as big as an elephant. Walking around the temple also takes a while, it is not small.
The stones have also been sculpted so beautifully in accordance with Shastras - each corner is designated to have carvings of a certain deity. How much do the sculptors make? If a small particle of stone hits their eye, they can easily lose eyesight. Many lost their limbs in the process since such big columns were included in the construction.
These days there are cranes and there is enough engineering to make it easy to sculpt. Machines do the sculpting. But back in the day, even householders would participate in sculpting. The boy is handed a hammer at about 4 years of age and he does this craft of sculpting all his life.
Some brothers have gone to court when they fight over the hammer and the chisel. Some have even killed each other. There was no hankering for any other wealth. So if there are two sons in the house, the father would use a hammer in the morning and a different one in the evening so he could pass them on to his sons. Daughters too would sculpt. Lately, our government is encouraging sculpting as an art.
Those columns can be stood on the ground with great effort, but how were they lifted up. Some columns appear to be hanging without support but will not budge if you try to push. You can run a cloth from under the column and above the column, there is no support. What maya! Even science cannot explain this. There is no magnet in the columns either.
In California (at Mystery Spot), due to a magnetic field, people feel that they are going to fall down as they walk. People hold on to the support bar as they walk. That was not man made, the magnetic field existed. They just built a cabin around there for people to go and experience it.
The columns at the temple have no magnetic field. Some ignorant man hit the column with a hammer recently. Nothing happened to the column, but now everyone can only see the columns from a distance, you cannot go near.
The stones also play the musical notes when struck. We can create stones that play a certain frequency.
So imagine how many various kinds of stones and gems are in Mother earth? She gives us nectar, she tolerates all our actions. The cow eats grass, but gives us milk. Children need milk that is also medicinal.
There is a poem in Kannada where the cow says -
O man, you do not give me fodder, you get me slaughtered when I get old, you put me and my children to work. My dung turns into manure. If you make them into (dung) cakes, they can be used for fire to cook. What good is your dung, O man!
Man's excretion is acidic, plants will die if they are given that manure. There is so much acid in our body. But the cow does not have this acid, how wonderful. The cow has four chambers in its stomach, we have one. Within an hour, the food turns acidic.
The cow says - my skin is also used to make bags, shoes etc, what good is your skin, Oh Human?
I plough the field that gives you food, what do you do, Oh Human? My milk is medicine for your children, what do you do, Oh Human! My bones too were once used for medicine, what good are your bones, Oh Human! My urine is medicine, yours is not.
The cow Urine, dung, skin, bones are all useful, but are any of your body parts useful. But somehow God gave you the intelligence and the power to walk towards liberation if you wish. You can go to heaven or to hell as you please. God has given you so much intelligence. That is why Oh Human, you lift your head and walk while my head is always lowered.
After this birth, I will take birth as a human. Since you tortured me, you will receive the same fate at my hands either in the form of a brother, or son or boss. You killed me, so I will do that to you by taking birth in your own house. When our children do not listen to us, it is our enemies taking birth as those children.
We must've eaten chicken, so that hen will take birth as a family member and torture you. "I will get you debt ridden, I will torture you as your spouse or neighbor. I will deprive you of peace. You fried me and ate me? You did not spare me even when I was crying. I cried for my children, the chicks. Now, it's your turn to cry and scream"
The sin will haunt us, there is no escape. That is why I keep reminding you to eat sattvik food. You do not like Brahmins because they eat sattvik food. They too are living a long life, bearing children, owning a home etc.
What does the elephants eat? It eats grass. It is so strong. Why do you say you need to eat eggs? Some cannot live without coffee. Some Functions may serve chicken, we do not. We do not want you to suffer in yoru next birth. I tell my devotees that there's enough sin committed already, put a stop to eating non-sattvik food. If your family members insist, let them eat, you do not need to.
The chicken are raised as pets, they even respond when you call them, how do you have the heart to butcher them for food? We should not see fish as vegetables. Many do this. Back when there was no other food, people ate fish to save their lives. Vishwamitra did too. Once his life was saved, he stopped. These days, there are plenty of options for food. Then, what is the need to eat meat?
Once we know, we should be careful. You wonder why God gave you all these troubles despite offering him flowers, coconuts etc. Does God need those offerings? We make those offerings for our own satisfaction. To restrain our indriyas (nigraha), buddhi and mind, we have the Moorti (vigraha).
We should do group bhajans and chanting. It has great results.
For the incarnation of Rama to take place, some Gods prayed to Vishnu, but nothing happened. Then, Brahma announced that all Devatas - 333 crores of them - as well as Yaksha, Kinnara, Kimpurusha, Gandharvas - gather to pray.
There are good and evil Yakshas. There are many Worlds. The number is endless!
I received a photo from NASA the other day. The satellite was sent to the orbit 7-8 years ago and the photo came today. The cosmos appears in the shape of an egg and is blue. All celestial bodies are in it. The cosmos is so big, no camera can capture it. The satellite greatly shrunk the photo for us to be able to see it.
The Naivedya, and flowers you offer are nothing. What will God do with them? Many have, finances but do not want to give. Alexander left the body with fists open to show that he was taking nothing with him. We don't take anything, not even our loved ones. You even leave your body behind. You love your body so much.
You stand in front of the mirror and decorate yourself endlessly. You wear 44 kinds of perfumes and only want to wear ironed clothes. Who gave you this body? Then, wouldn't the one who gave you the body take it back? Is it your body? Who gave you the house you live in? You think you worked hard for it, but who gave you that energy?
This earth is our rental place, just as our body is. We use AC during summer and heater during winter. We carry flask with hot coffee. We give the body all the comforts we can.
We complain about all kinds of weather. That is how weather is, you must withstand it, you must adjust to the environment and temperature. We must experience the result of our sins. We have to live in nature, aligned with the weather.
This summer, there will be a lot of heat. Be careful! There will be more sins committed. People will be incestuous. Be careful! Crops will not have the desired yield; gold this summer will become even more expensive. Look at my European devotees, they do not care about gold and silver. The more desire we have, the more grief we suffer.
If you want to make Swamiji happy, you can write the Shatashloki Ramayana in these books. Since we built a branch in Ayodhya, we released these books. Everyone that has the ability to write, that has devotion for Datta, Hanuman, Rama take atleast 10 copies and write. Some of you can even sponsor the books, your name or company name can be printed on the back.
You can sponsor a large number of books and also get your photo printed. You need to print atleast 1000 books. Why is the temples' grandeur gone? Some temples are not even receiving pujas. Why? Once the fortune of the one building the temple ends, the temple falls into ruin.
That is why we build temples with everyone's input so it lasts forever. I can have 2-3 people do it easily, but we want everyone to participate. Everyone must contribute to Shila-Dānam.
