Scaffold Contact with Power Lines Leaves One Construction Worker Dead Two Injured at Plantation Houston.

One construction worker was electrocuted and two others were injured following an incident at a building site in Plantation Houston.

Preliminary information indicates that the men were working on a scaffold when it reportedly rolled backward and came into contact with medium-voltage Guyana Power and Light mains.

Contact with the electrical wires resulted in the workers receiving electric shocks, resulting in the fatal injury of one individual.

Emergency Medical Technicians and ranks of the Guyana Police Force are currently at the scene conducting investigations.
