More than five years ago, Robert Amar reflected on the Kisskadee Karavan — a movement that cracked open the doors for a new generation of artists. In the early ’90s, this platform dared to merge local talent with global genres, creating a sound that was raw, fearless, and ahead of its time.
“Kisskadee Karavan was about breaking boundaries,” Amar said. And he meant it. The Karavan didn’t just showcase talent — it empowered voices that were often overlooked, giving them a stage big enough for the world to hear.

Today, its spirit lives on in every artist who blends culture, identity, and innovation.
